Love this little thing! I can move it anywhere in my iguanas terrarium @ any time. U can set it up in 2 different positions (see pics). The digits r easy to read and it’s super accurate. I’ve only had it not work 2x but I’m sure that dropping it in the drinking water didn’t help much. All I did was took the battery out for a while & it worked perfectly again. It’s way more cost effective than the ones that u stick on the side w/a sticky back. Once u take those off u can’t put them back on. The sticky back is a pain to get off the glass as well. If u want a clean, easy, effective way to monitor the heat & humidity of a terrarium this it the best option!! Only thing I would change is making it 100% water proof!

I have multiples of these as I have 2 vivarium and they work great! I have 2 other temp readers in the vivariums and they are always within the same range as my others. They stick nicely to the class though they don't work on PVC, I would highly recommend if you need one for a tropical vivarium as they can withstand a decent amount of "rain" and are easy to read

Works well and is accurate but its kind of hard to read

I absolutely love these. I just set up my first ever bearded dragon enclosure and these are so handy. I compared the readings to those made with a calibrated tool and they are accurate. The suction cups don’t work well on the material of the sides of my enclosure (pvc) so I have them stuck on the inside of the glass doors until I decide what kind of adhesive or fastener I will use to get them to stay where I want them.

I had two problems with this product First, the readout screen is transparent and I found it difficult to see the numbers against the background inside the tank. Second, it doesn't take a standard size battery, and I had trouble finding a replacement. The suction worked alright and it gave an accurate reading, but I will not be purchasing another.

Using in dart frog vivarium

The first time I removed the battery sticker from Amazon's delivery package on the thermostat, I turned on the power and I noticed it works nicely. Once I placed the thermostat on one of my stainless refrigerator, it fell off within 20 sec. from 1 or 2 feet into our tile floor kitchen. It was immediately broken. The cup suction does not work good. This thermostat is very flimsy as well. It's easy-to-break. I don't recommend buying this type thermostat with cup-suction. It does not work as intended. If you decide to buy this type thermostat, then I recommend tape it OR do not test it higher than 2 ft (or more); it will drop from the cup-suction and it will break. Overall, pay alittle more to get something that's stronger and more durable (and reliable).
