Excellent replacement for 2010 Toyota Yaris hatchback

Who ever was complaining about it being so hard in the reviews, didn't know how to use a screw driver or the back side of a hammer's nail prong. They simply tension snap on/off. Just remember to protect your paint with a rag or something, take your time. Start with the one end on the hatch first, after than you can probably (carefully) tilt the strut connecting to the body far enough to pop it off or snap the plastic end. Make sure you don't wrench on it and bend the ball stud it goes on, of course. I suggest a tiny dab of grease on the ends when installing the new ones too. Not a must but will make it last longer and keeps rain water from damaging things. Anyway, took all of 90 seconds to replace both of them. Works good as new and now, it lifts right up on it's own hands free once I hit the release button. No more ramming my forehead into the low hatch. Howrah.
