Value for Money !!.. very crisp clear recording... tried it out using both Audacity for Audio and Windows Movie maker for Video/Audio. this was my first condensor mic purchase and am quite happy with it. Crisp and sharp vocal/acoustic recording can be done using this microphone. The only disadvantage is that it records a LOT OF BACKGROUND NOISE. You have to have proper sound isolation if you want this to work perfectly. I used it in a small room where i kept my PC. It was recording each and every sound including the sound from other rooms and the outside noise. The sound from my CPU was the main problem for me. So if you are purchasing this, keep it away from all the possible sounds, or invest in a proper microphone isolation shield.Latency was also a bit of a problem as I don't have an audio interface. If you have a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) you can minimize your latency. The microphone stand is very small and cannot hold extra weight like a big pop filter. Overall this mic is very good considering the acoustic and vocal recording. Be sure to remove the noise in your software after recording.

Best for recording vocal, guitar etc. quality.Good for Home Studio recording.

The voice burst. I don't feel i should have bought this mic. Please dont buy and if any solution amazon tell me. Wastage of money.

I am writing this review after trying Samson Go Pro, CAD U37(this one) & Blue Snowball. I would rate this as the least from the list. The recording ends up with the hissing noise and there is no control over the ambient noise either. You may find the switches for the noise and bass control, however, they don't seem to help much to your recordings. The mic build quality is v.good, however, the tripod stand is kind of fragile. There is zero instruction on how to setup the stand mic, you gotta be on your own.The package is typical see thru sealed poly pack. My usage is limited to adding voiceover in videos and presentations. I am primarily Mac user and the applications used for my work are Camtasia, Keynote and Powerpoint.I did try Audacity and couple of other recording apps. However, a plain jane Keynote presentation recording is pretty bad with this. I had to return this product as it didn't solve my purpose.
