I’m a hairdresser and have had this watch for about 5 months constantly in water and products in the salon and it still works beautifully!! It has a great timer system that works for me to time my processing times and it measures down to the seconds which is really helpful for other timing purposes! It has an alarm function and much more! Amazing watch for the workplace! Cute and retro

I love this watch. Really really really. Have had it for 2 weeks and worn it every day. It's cute and professional and a little retro without being fussy.I use the timer constantly. I'm a high school teacher, and it keeps me and my students on track without me having to pick up my phone and potentially get distracted.Some notes:-the band is not stretchy, but it is super adjustable. Doesn't pinch, catch on my arm, anything.-no display light-no date-fabulous timer-alarm-simple and easy to useI love this watch. 10/10 recommend.

What a beautiful, classic piece! I love that you don’t have to go to a watch store to get it fitted. Adjusting the strap is super easy. Great quality for the price. I’m over luxury goods and my Apple Watch. People mentions that it is small. It is exactly as described. If people check the measurements and actually refer to a ruler, they would know exactly what the size is and will not get caught off guard. I have a small wrist, so the sizing is perfect for me. The watch face is as described and the functions are limited and basic but exactly what I need. Time, alarm, date, and timer.

I agree with the positive points raised by most about this watch - good looking compared to other digital watches with a timer or stopwatch; good timer and stopwatch; easy to set; etc. There are a few things, though, that I don't like about this purchase (from Amazon): 1) if you enlarge the picture of this watch on the Amazon product page, you'll see "Japan" right under "water resistant" on the surface of the watch. The actual watch doesn't have "Japan" on it. 2) It says "Made in China" on the back of the watch, which doesn't seem what's in the picture on Amazon. And, 3) the thickness info on Amazon says 5mm, but the actual thickness is 7.5mm. I checked Casio's product page and found 7.5mm thickness to be right. I guess it gave me some confidence that it's probably not a fake, as many things have been found to be these days. And, 7.5mm is not bad considering many digital watches are over 10mm thick. Still, I hope Amazon will update the thickness information and the product photos so that there is no discrepancy between what one thinks what she would get and the reality.BTW, I found the band very secure after I adjusted it. I tried to pull it apart after the adjustment, and found I didn't have enough strength to make that happen without using tools. I'm not frail in any way : )As one of the previous reviews suggested, you do need to make sure that the clasp is fastened into the "right" spot. I slide the clasp slightly to find the spot, and just used my hand to fasten it. I guess if the spot had not been right, I would have needed to force it to fasten by using a tool.Update: July, 2012This watch survived an entire cycle of my washing machine. I obviously forgot to take it out of a pocket of a jacket I wore and put into the washer. I was amazed to find it was working as if nothing had happened. Your mileage may vary, but I appreciate how well mine has worked.

I love love LOVE this watch. Perfect for the price. I’m a hair stylist and I needed a nice digital watch that was able to withstand constant water usage and being submerged and this is IT!! I’ve purchased this watch at three times over the past twenty years. I bought it originally to easily time things when working in a kitchen and it works like a charm.Minor issues some up after years of wear:The latch loosens and undoes itself while I’m wearing it. The bracelet also loosens and my long hair gets tangled in the strap. My last one, lasted at least 5 years before the battery died. I tried to change the battery myself which seemed straightforward but I couldn’t get it closed properly with the gasket to make it fully waterproof again. I’m sure a professional can easily change the battery without problem.I love the simplicity and practicality of this watch and will probably continue to buy it when needed since the benefits outweigh the problems.
