Hated it at first, ended up loving it. Strange texture and unique taste but then you get addicted to it. Don't know how to explain it. I was severely made fun of for liking black licorice and I don't care, black licorice is GOAT.

This is the Hard Candy Licorice Flavor you are looking for
Great on the palate, stomach and pleasing to the senses. Hard Candy with a soft texture. Not gummy but a little soft which is perfect to my needs for a black licorice flavor. Has Molasses as a flavor ingredient which is why I like it so much. Not too sweet, puckery or poignant yet very well balanced. Doesn't gag your throat/tongue. I have 1 or 2 a night and find it relaxing to enjoy

Candy addicts beware - These are irresistible! If you like licorice with a little minty kick, you will love these. My husband is not a big licorice fan but even he can't stop eating these. The 2lb bag that i had hoped would last for a while has dwindled to mere ounces now. Like most European candies, these are not overdosed with sugar. (Wish US candy makers realized that they could easily halve the amount of sugar in their candies and it would still be good; nay, better!) Also, this is much better value for money than ordering through Sockerbit.
