Great knife
I use this product to shave my legs LOL at least I tested it and it is sharp! It’s nice and weighty and I love the feel of flicking it open with my middle finger like Spider-Man, the weight of the blade locking into place really makes it feel solid. I like the feel of the handle, it’s nice and grippy and contours to my hand really well without the outer edges of the handle digging into my finger creases. It’s also not super heavy in general, and you can comfortably choke up on the blade since it doesn’t have a flipper tab to open it, it has a divet instead which lets you cut completely flat against a cutting board or something flat. It’s very comfortable to handle after about a day of playing around with it. I highly recommend this knife, it has a soft steel (154CM) but definitely one I can never go without now that I have this size and the smallest size.

As good as my higher dollar knives...considering the price
Didn't have any "cleaver" style folders in my collection so I opted to try this one in the budget version. All I can say is... BANG... homerun. Build quality is spot on. Solid lock up, perfect detent, very well done micarta, super smooth action, great ergos, decent steel even in the budget version. If you must have higher grade steel there is an S35V available. I went with the 154CM (have multiple CPM20CV, M390 & CRUWARE blades) for ease of sharpening since I am going to use the hell out of this thing at work. Wasn't sure if I would like this blade style but 1 night at work made a believer out of me....it's a slicing machine and very handy for more precise trimming rubber cliché's that go in the printer for 12 ga shotgun shells. For 80 bucks, I'm more than satisfied. Highly recommend

Everything about this knife is perfect minus the clip
The action is that of knives hundreds of dollars more. Which in todays market doesn’t say a lot. Quality is always improving while costs can come down. This knife 5 years ago could have been sold as a high end production from China. Today though, budget done right. The grind is extremely well done. With such a high flat and thin edge, it destroys everything in the cutting path effortlessly. I tried a few edges on different kinds of stones and found that 154cm on this knife loved a fine edge. I took it to 1200 grit on Venev diamond (about equivalent to 5000grit, don’t ask me why. They’ll tell you the same) and it just cut and cut. It stropped back so fast. I love the blade on this knife. The ergonomics are beautiful. With soft edges and soft micarta, it just feels perfect. The only issue I have is the pocket clip. It’s thin and a little flimsy. I personally had no real issues but I sold one of these to a friend and at least once a week, the clip had to be bent back. Apparently, his vacuum hates the clip on this knife. I personally never have issues with pocket clips. I’m conscious of what is where on me and around me, I guess. This is a great knife at an amazing price.

Great knife for the price.
The media could not be loaded. A lot to like about this knife. For me its a perfect size. Action is smooth and very drop shuty. Lock up is good, zero blade play or lock rock. Love the thumb hole for reverse flicking which is very easy to do. The 154CM steel is just fine for this price point. Blade centering is dead on. Love the deep carry clip but my only gripe is the clip tension is a bit loose. I can tap it and it makes a click noise. Might be able to adjust it myself. Also, no other positions for the clip besides right side tip up carry. Doesn't bother me but may turn off others. Even with the loose clip, still gets 5 Stars from me.

first cleaver
though I prefer a drop point, I really do like this knife. The micarta handle is incredibly comfortable and even the pocket clip fits into my palm properly (like they actually tested for this). I have so many other EDC knives that I would enjoy using but for the way the clip either digs into my palm during use or is incredibly painful to remove from my pocket (Kershaw Natrix for example, wth). The cleaver is a bit top heavy, but not in any way unwieldly. As an EDC it does a very nice job prying at things I would never use a drop point for. After getting this one I had to purchase the flipper version because I can't seem to get the knack of flipping it completely open with my thumb.

great knife great price
Really like this knife. The mini sheepdog is a flipper. This is not the xl but the c1 which is larger than the mini but smaller than the xl. I edc a spyderco yojimbo and this , size wise, is not much different overall in the hand. I open it the same way in which i open a spyderco. The handles on this are really nice feeling and micarta is tough as nails. The steel used is really good especially for a sub 100$ piece imo. Out of the box it shaved my arm with ease and the action is crazy smooth. may buy another just to put away.
