Wish I'd bought it sooner!
I love this coffee machine (3300 series), it was really easy and quick to set up. The LatteGo system works well and produces hot frothy milk really quickly.I had a few disappointments when I first started to use the machine but, I soon found out that it has so many settings over and above the settings on the screen, which soon overcame my disappointment. Most of these changes need to be made with the machine switched off. I would advise downloading the full user manual from the website, there is a QR code in with the quick start manual. There isn't an onscreen button to change the drink temperature, but this can be altered with a few button presses. The coffee wasn't initially very strong but the grind settings can be altered, there is an adjusting wheel in the coffee bean hopper, just turn anti-clockwise to go stronger (finer grinds) or clockwise to go weaker (more coarse grinds). The standby time can be customised to stay on for 15, 30, 60 or 180 minutes, this has to be done when the machine is off.Initially the amount of drink dispensed on the highest setting wasn't enough to fill my cup, but the highest amount can be altered for each drink, you have to enter program mode whilst the machine is off to do this, the instructions explain this and other features very well in the full instruction manual. With a 2-year warranty I look forward to many great cups of coffee.

Quality and customer service
0 STARS. UTTER TRASH.I've had this since February 2024 and it's failed for the third time today. First time was the grinder motor failing. Second and third time are the machine randomly turning off, including whilst making a coffee. The company who repaired the item had the audacity to blame me for a lack of maintenance, which is rubbish, and guess what....it's failed again, so it reeks of that company not bothering the second time round to fix the SAME issue. A quick search of that particular company reveals a plethora of very negative comments about their service!Philips customer services are also abysmal. I can't even find anywhere to contact them to complain, except for the generic chat bot, which is as useful as a chocolate fireguard.DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!I have effectively bought a disposable £400 coffee machine, as the warranty will expire shortly, as it looks as though Philips will not take responsibility for their faulty products. A major let down for a well-known and respected brand. I will not be buying or recommending Philips again, for anything. Clearly another big-name brand that do not care about their products, or aftercare.

Excellent Value and Easy to Use
Just what we wanted! nothing fancy, extremely easy to use, lovely cup of coffee and you can adjust the temperature of the water, so that you can have a lovely hot cup of coffee. You can also adjust the ml in the cup. Very good price. I could not have chosen better. It replaces my Krups bean to cup which unfortunately failed. This is far better.

Happy with the purchase
I drank coffee from a newer model, but this one is just great considering the price. The coffee is good, the milk foam is nice, and we used it for tea as well which was nice. The only minus I could mention is the noise of the grinder, but I didn’t have before another coffee machine to be able to compare. I recommend if you want coffee and options with milk.

Makes good coffee
Lavazza has stopped making thier tins of intensio coffee but the whole beans are available. So I had to bit the bullet and enter into the world of choosing a 'bean to cup' machine. I think if you laid one of each of the multitude of available models in a line, they would reach from here in The UK to Italy and back.Long story short, price, reviews etc.. settled for this Philips model. So far so good, been using at breakfast every day severl months and it makes good coffee once you have worked out you choice of strength etc.. people have criticised the instructions.. yes, could be a little more obvious but as long as you use your common sense, all is OK.Don't forget the weekly cleaning process.PS If you are going to steam your milk, get a proper batista jug and thermometer.

Lovely Coffee Machine
We bought this to replace an ageing coffee machine of the coffee pod variety, finally deciding to bite the bullet and step up a notch. We are certainly not disappointed with the decision, finding it somewhat cheaper to run (buying beans rather than pods) and far better for the environment. It is super-easy to use and can produce really nice coffee - espresso, lungo and full coffee sizes are just a single button press away. The range of strengths is nice and it's super-easy to use ground coffee if someone in the house has a preference other than the current bean selection. The milk frother, as well, is super-easy to use and very simple to clean. One thing of note is that you really do benefit from heading to youtube and finding the maintenance video there as it makes the maintenance instructions a lot clearer. There is rather more maintenance to do than the simpler coffee pod machine we used to own but I am hoping that means that this machine will have a longer lifespan.
