Will it prevent me from getting swollen ankles in the heat?

Hello Mrs.N it will not stop the swelling of the ankles but it is really soothing and cooling.I broke two toes on my left foot on the 5th of July and this cream, that I apply several times a day, has helped vey much the discomfort.I use it on a daily basis as I am a nurse and I also suffer from swelling ankles and I would not be with out this cream.It is so refreshing and it helps the feel of the swelling of the ankles.Hope if helps,Isabel.
