It works
Like that it sits perfectly on the base and you can reposition the portal and not lose the battery charging ability.

Handy!
I have my original setup in my home studio and put this charging station in my home office. So now I can just bring my Portal Go with me in my office and have it charging there. Prior to getting this, I would forget my Portal Go in my office without putting it back in my studio to charge. Now it doesn’t matter which room I leave it in. It’ll charge either way.

Mixed review, 1 OK one not
I have two Portal Go units so I bought two of these. One is fine. The other must have something wrong with the charging contacts, like not the same height as each other or something, because the noise the Portal Go makes when it is first put on the charger kept happening, over and over without end. I tried the other Portal Go in the charging stand and the same thing happened so it wasn't the Portal Go unit. There is a return period and I will be returning it. Must be a manufacturing issue. The swivel up-down and left-right is tight with a fair amount of resistance. I do like that this elevates the Portal Go and makes it easy to align the unit with the 3 charging contacts.
