Legs are uneven at the fully collapsed/extended positions.
Legs are slightly uneven at the extend and collapsed positions. Everything else is good for the money.

Great little bipod for .22s - probably too small for an AR however
This is a great bipod. I mount it to my Ruger 10/22 with a bull barrel and a Magpul Hunter X-22 stock. I love the low profile design of the bipod. It is a good height, but not very tall. If I were to go back, I might think about getting a bipod with a little more height. Although this one works great. I can still fit the 25 round magazines and shoot off a bench with this bipod, which is all I need. However, if you are mounting on a AR-15, I would definitely get a taller bipod. I put this on my Sig 516 AR-15 and it won't work with the 30 round mags. Obviously the 10 round mag fits fine. The build is very solid and I really like the mechanism that moves the legs up and down. The picatinny mount is solid and doesn't come loose at all (really not too much though since it is on a Ruger 10/22 with 0 recoil). The legs fold up nicely and are stiff, but not too stiff. One weird thing to note however is that the feet on my came installed backwards. Not a big deal to swap and fix, but something you might be aware of. Overall a great little bipod at a very good price.

Good compact bipods
This is a nice light weight compact bipod. Not being a fan of the springs on some other bipods I like the straight forward movement of the legs. The locking point are positive and easy to adjust. Attachment to the rail is very secure. The legs are not long enough to keep a 30rd mag form touching the ground but work well from the bench or tree stump. The leg extensions are not necessary since they only extend the legs by a couple of inches and when left in the extended position dont come near the muzzle on my gun and can see it only doing so in very limited circumstances. I tighten the nuts for the spring loaded extensions with a pair of channel locks to make sure they stay in place. If the nuts are not secure the legs can collapse. The feet could do with a set of rubber boots but a few wraps pf rubber tape did the trick.

Works as it should
Picked this up for a Savage 64 that has an inexpensive Barska scope for plinking. Had the swivel mount that I needed included so there was added value there. Works well with this rifle and is stable, just as you would expect. As some other reviewers noted, this bipod would be too short for use on a rifle with a longer magazine, such as an AR, but for the 10-rounder on the Savage it works well.

Heavy for it's size... but good value for a range toy
Use locktite when you connect the rail and bipod to you rifle... this is not suitable for a field rifle as it weighs as much as my 22.

Does all I need
I have a UTG bipod that is taller. I like it, but it was a little too tall for the bench at the range I go to. So, I bought 2 shorter UTG bipods. 1 for me, and 1 for my wife. (She would have taken mine) We are not Pro shooters or snipers, so these work just fine for the range and plinking. I must add, I am happy with the various UTG products that I do have.

Nothing fancy but, it works. My interest was to have something compact to carry in my pocket and it fits the bill. I wouldn't ask much more of it though as it is not the most user friendly little thing (getting it level can be tedious).

Bought a barrel clamp bipod from ugt for my pellet rifle. Liked the quality so much i figured it would be great for an ar15 as well(barrel clamp one fit ar great also but was worried about barrel heat) so i got this one for my ar. With an extra $.25 grab a wing nut from hardware store and its turned into a quick disconnect. Sleek and sturdy design. Now have 2 great ugt bipods

Good quality and sturdy
Sturdy and easily leveled with infinitely height adjustable legs. I have had no issues with the legs collapsing when they shouldnโt. Just set the leg height where you want it and tighten down the collar and you should have no issues. I could only see this being a problem with very heavy rifles.

Well made
return the unit, the price was good. I found a tripod instead which will work without adding more weight to my rifle
