The sound is horrendous. Each instrument sounds basically the same as the others. You can't play chords of 3 notes or more. And sometimes even playing 2 notes at once doesn't work.

If my daughter did not play with this every day I would not have rated it so high. So price wise - this is inexpensive! How much can you judge it with if it’s this inexpensive, honestly.Batteries are not included so be sure you have three AA’s on hand. The microphone broke right away but it has a normal microphone hole so we had other ones we could plug in that worked with it just fine. The sound is not the best but good enough for little ones! One thing to note - the buttons on ours to change it from things like “piano” or “organ” all pretty much sounded the exact same. That was the main thing that disappointed my daughter but she is 5 and was just happy it was pink and she could sing about High Top shoes whenever she wants now. Sooooo if you’re just looking for a fun toy for your kids to bang up whenever they want this is a great choice!

This keyboard is not the highest quality, but it seems OK for the most part.I got this for my 5 yr old daughter. She loves trying to play our piano, so I thought she would enjoy this too. I was right. She does enjoy this keyboard, especially the fact that there are 8 demo songs that are already programmed. Grant it, the spelling on some of the words and song titles isn't quite right, but I can still figure out what it's suppose to say.This keyboard also comes with a microphone. While the keyboard itself has OK sound, the microphone is TERRIBLY tinny/staticky. It would have been better to not include a microphone at all with as bad as this one sounds.The keyboard can switch between different instruments (ie: piano, organ, etc). There are different rhythms, tempos, drums, etc.Overall this is an OK keyboard. Microphone is bad, but my daughter still uses it. She loves changing the sounds, instruments, and such.

This piano toy is compact, lightweight and easy to play with. The buttons are easy to push as well as piano keys. It is made of plastic and seems sturdy, but nothing is if flung or thrown hard across the room, but simply playing with it as intended it's sturdy. There are different kind of tones and sounds which produce a very loud cacophony of unusual sounds which kids love. Good toy for everyday play.
