New friends are hard to come by in the world.
I was fired today, or is it night? I don't even care anymore. I forgot to pay the power bill so the lights are out now. The wife took the kids to her parents house, something about not being "responsible" doesn't she understand what I have been going through because of this series? She doesn't understand, my kids don't understand, my Boss don't understand. All I have left is my books.

What is up with this world?!
What is up with this world?! It reveals information hidden in seems at the time unimportant objects and words, then when you figure it out with the kids, it just teases you. Salivating for more information, it is a real page turner. The artwork is amazing! And each kid offers something to table, a reason to like it dislike them. Can't wait for the next volume and anime adaptation.

Taking a different direction
Volume 7 of promised Neverland is a shift of direction gone is the horror from the first volume and instead we get The Last of Us with demons. It’s still to early for me to call whether I like the change in direction or not. Still it was a slog to get me to finish this volume and I took a hiatus well I came back to it and I found everything to be okay not as engrossing as the previous volumes.

Still Binging
The previous book ended with the bright children finally finding the shelter, and the meeting with the person that lives there. However he is a little strange and not quite the individual they were looking for. And so the children haves to use their wit to plan their next moves. The book doesn’t give you anything new about Minerva other than that he seems to have set all this up years. Next to its many twists, the series is already excels in character-building and this book certainly contributes to that. In this volume we also get some more world-building again. There are still many questions left unanswered, and a few new mysteries are teased.Once more an exciting read. The narrative has slowed a little before picking up toward the end. The book once more concludes with a cliff hanger.

Crazy histories!
A new mystery, a new ally or foe. A place that was interesting and self sustaining yet different. I am definitely being dragged into the series more and more but am interested into seeing where it goes. There are so many elements at play but it was wonderful seeing them not in danger and as a family again.

O.O
Oh boi, he hasn't realised it yet, but he's only going to make them 100 times stronger that way. Can't wait to see them overcome everything and get way better than with a soft approach.
