Book of the Dead (TombQuest, Book 1) (1)

I very much enjoyed this book and will definitely read the books that follow in the series. It is a fun exciting read with plenty of excitement to keep you reading.Take one ancient Egyptian magic spell from the book of the dead, and apply it today and everything goes wrong in the world. Now there is a rush to save the world from the ramifications of a curse caused by using an ancient spell to save a little boy's life.This book is pretty fast paced and you don't get bored with it at all. I love books that make me not want to put it down and then make me sad when I finish it, and this book did that.

I ENJOYED THE EXCITEMENT OF THE PLOT AND THE TWISTS AND TURNS OF THE PLOT. I READ IT BECAUSE I AM TUTORING A FIFTH GRADER WHO WAS DOING A REPORT ON IT. HE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT ,AND FINISHED IT QUICKLY; HE NOW WANTS TO READ THE SECOND BOOK IN THE SERIES. MY ONLY CONCERN AS AN ADULT IS THAT THERE ARE PARTS THAT COULD TERRIFY SOME CHILDREN IN THIS AGE GROUP.

I read lots of YA fiction, but I seldom review it. This book was a delightful surprise. Meticulous research underlay the entire story, yet never came as an info-dump. The characters were enganging and vivid, and the plot was more complex and intriguing than the average for this genre. Just a delightful page-turner!

Book 1 and the other four books all arrived in time for my grandson's birthday and was just what he wanted! :) Thank you.

This book is very different. If you are into Egyptian history this is great. This book is not in my mind for very young kids (5 or under). But I loved the book...and all the action can not wait for book 2!

Good amount of suspense. Is fun to read. Intense part about the Stung Man facing off against Alex and Ren

I loved this book. It's a very exciting start to a fun filled adventure series. It's a nice easy read that anyone can enjoy with lots of myth and history mixed in. I can't wait to read the next one!
