Good Customer Service
Bought this battery almost a year ago. LOVE that it's so light... 3 pounds vs the 15 pounds of my original lead-acid... and way more power... when it works.A couple of times, when the bike was parked for maybe a week and not on the charger, the battery was completely dead. Figured something must be draining it. Surely it couldn't be my brand new $200 battery. Finally installed a voltage logger to try to figure things out. What I learned shocked me. While often the voltage readings were completely normal, there were times when the readings were bizarre. The attached photo is from one morning last month... just sitting in the garage and not on the charger... voltage reads normal until about 8AM. Then all hell breaks loose... voltage swings beyond the limits of my voltmeter for 4 solid hours. Then around noon it goes back to normal like nothing ever happened. Without the logger I'd still be pulling my hair out. Instead I pulled the battery out of my motorcycle and went back to my lead weight that spins the starter when I need it too.Not knocking lithium. That's what use for all my deep-cycle needs and love it. Thinking maybe I got a battery with bad BMS. I'll reach out to the company to see what they say.----------2022-02-09 UpdateReached out to the company last October and received a reply from Tim Salzman a few days later. I was busy and set everything aside until January when I recontacted Tim. Tim immediately sent me a replacement battery. I have now bumped my review to 4 stars based on customer service. I will be carefully monitoring the new battery. Over time, if all goes well, I may add the last star.----------2022-10-02 UpdateAs promised, I've now bumped my review to 5 stars. After a summer of riding, the replacement battery has yet to let me down. Cranks much faster than the original battery at a fraction of the weight. Awesome customer service. Highly recommend.

Always starts my boat and pulls crab pots
I bought one of these to use as the start/house battery for my small fishing boat. It starts my 20 hp outboard in a snap. It also powers the ancillary boat circuits like the chart plotter and fish finder without any problems. When I fish with a downrigger it powers that which is raising a 12 lbs lead ball from up to 150 ft. Even more it pulls the 30 lbs shrimp pot up from 250 to 350 ft without every running out of charge. It takes 3 to 4 minutes to get the pot up from the bottom. I leave the outboard at idle and so it's putting out about 5 amps and the puller will take up to 30 amps so I figure the battery is putting out 15 to 25 for those 3 to 4 minutes. Impressive for a small battery.I put this in in spring of 2018 and used it extensively every summer since. In the winter it sits idle for weeks at a time and starts the boat right up after that.I love the power to weight ratio with on a small boat is a big deal. The small size is a bonus. To bad it is sort of expensive compared the conventional heavy AGM batteries.

Warranty is not a viable option
I purchased this battery in July 2023 and installed in my Honda CBX classic. I used this bike once for a day. When I went back to use again, battery went into sleep mode. I can reactivate but it will go back to sleep mode in ten minutes.I contacted Battery Tender and they said I would need to pay shipping back. I would need to pay $83.00 for a replacement and pay return shipping. After doing the math, I can order a bigger battery from their competitors for this money without shipping costs. Therefore the idea that Battery Tender is a good product because they stand behind their product does not ring true from a consumers standpoint and the actual workings of their warranty.I would consider them the same as any of their competitors and the claim that they carry a superior product does not play out, so buy on price, not reputation when it comes to Battery Tender.

had the older model of this batter and it was a 240 amp battery
bought my bike a few years back and it had a deltran battery in it and has been going strong. the only reason for changing is I wanted the newer technology for piece of mind. prevents over charging and over draining of the battery which can be bad for lithium batteries. My old battery was 240 amp this on is 300 and about the same size so fit is perfect. Using the lithium battery is great you can crank the motor more times without loosing power which is great if you get something wet you should not causing a hard start. the 1 thing to keep in mind in cold weather you need to turn on the lights or something to get the battery started before trying to start the bike. other than that works great and lasts longer than most conventional motorcycle batteries. I just wanted the newer technology and more amps my bike is a 125ci v twin so takes alot to turn it over. the 240 never failed to start it but why not get more now that it is available.

May not match the dimensions of the OEM battery
This battery is much lighter that the lead acid battery that it replaced, weighing about a fifth as much with every bit as much starting power. I bought it to replace the battery in my 1600 Vulcan Classic, as it is a recommended replacement according to Amazon. It it quite a bit longer than the original batteries dimensions, so it took a bit of wrangling to get it in the battery compartment, but I was able to do so after removing a wiring bracket that held the wires over the top of the original battery. This has not caused any issues for me, but is something that people should be aware of if they are buying this battery as an OEM replacement, and just want to drop this in without removing the bracket. There may be a way to do this, but I opted not to go to the effort of finding it.I was able to charge this battery with the same charger that I used for my lead acid battery, but that is not going to be the case for all chargers so you should do some checking before you buy or be prepared to get another charger.I cannot yet speculate on the overall value of this purchase, as I have not had this battery long enough to see how long it will last, but so far it has held up well.
