It works for me.It took a reasonable time to get used to it.It is a good helper in a creative process. Hardly a replacement for creativity and skill.For me personally, the best use for it was to:1. Arrange the big shapes.2. Draw some stubborn details I couldn't catch otherwise.The rest is about creative freedom.

Clunky and cheaply made it’s basically useless. I watched videos before I bought it and it seemed a great tool. I was wrong. The vision head wouldn’t screw tight enough to the arm, the filter wouldn’t screw tight enough onto the vision head and you barely get a reflection on your paper. I played with this for hours thinking I was doing something wrong - changed the lighting, changed filters, tried both filters and still only a very slight useless reflection. Don’t waste your money on this.

Gifted to my 11 yo aspiring artist grandson. His parents have had to limit his time using it.

I have had this tool for a couple of months. The first time I used it, worked great. The second time I used it, the head broke. The head with the mirror broke at the point where it connects to the neck. I love this equipment, but I am sad it broke so quickly. It was expensive. I cant find anywhere that has replacement parts on the website.

First saw this product on ABC network show "Shark Tank". Looked very interesting. Made a somewhat "impulse buy" and regretted it. Just not for my wife and I. It was a little on the 'cheap' side as far as it's manufacturing, but for the most part, was stable. It was pretty difficult to use. One had to manipulate filters and magnification back and forth to get the optimal use out of it. Ended up just being to convoluted and kind of a waste of time. On a positive note, if someone is a creative upcoming artist, it very well might be a useful tool in achieving one's goals.

I want everyone to know that his company has the BEST Customer Service!!! My last review was out of MY frustration, and not about the product itself!!! This is a good product, and I would like to buy the larger size at some point... I apologize to the company for my last review. Not easy to use and results in just a ghost image. For the amount of money, I expected more. I would have been happy with the price and would have paid more if it worked well

I love the product. Very useful for artists who are not confident in drawing.
