Lengthy review, well worth the read
I want to start by saying that I am a stay-at-home-mom to a 4 year old tornado child, pregnant with another one, with a pit/beagle mix and a really fat Tabby Cat. This is important for you to know because : 1.) I am overwhelmed and exhausted 98% of the time 2.) my house is in a constant state of chaos 3.) the amount of hair emitted from these animals is ungodly and almost surpasses the amount to which I love them. Almost. In addition to these facts, I am also one who suffers from respiratory issues due to an allergy to the cat my husband has had since long before we started dating. So, I shall deal until the cat is called home - so to speak. Now, for the good stuff. I have been using a vacuum that my mother purchased for us - it’s something like a shark “pet” something or other - the kind that has spinning bristles and a hose with attachments and likes to tip over and is a bigger hassle than I am willing to put up with for how often I /should/ be vacuuming my house.I recently reached a breaking point with my house and decided to simplify literally everything. At the top of the list was my cleaning gear. I had used a Dyson cordless vacuum at my MIL’s house recently, not unlike this one, and decided to get the same style.I purchased this vacuum based on reviews and the killer price - not to mention the option of same-day delivery. The second it arrived, I had to use it.Lo’ and behold, my life is changed.1.) The vacuum is so light weight, I have zero issues holding it ABOVE my head to clean our ceiling fans.2.) Assembly of the various parts, converting it into exactly what the job calls for, is an absolute breeze and I have never had anything so quickly interchangeable. (This thing is better than my MIL’s Dyson!!)3.) The longest extension for the vacuum is long enough to easily clean the really tough places - where fur balls like to collect4.) The suction and design of the floor vac attachment actually PULLS the crap from deep in the corners of baseboards and under kitchen cabinets. It’s also slim and flexible enough that I don’t have to rearrange my living room to get under furniture!5.) The lack of a spinning brush removes that whole thing where debris gets kicked around instead of picked up by the floor attachment - it’s PERFECT for hard floors! I no longer feel the missed debris left behind while I vacuum barefoot, it gets EVERYTHING.6.) The detail attachments PLUS the suction (plus the full extension attachment) make it to where my baseboards and blinds are getting cleaner than they ever have been, with out my pregnant butt being crouched down trying to get everything or having to over extend to reach high-up blinds.7.) It’s QUIET! Like as quiet as my air purifier. Meaning when I have a newborn, I can get sh*t done!!!!!8.) It takes up such little space that I’m totally fine having it tucked into a corner of my living room for easy, daily access to keep up on the house9.) It is incredibly easy to use of carpeted stairs - again, without having to crouch and scrub just to get it clean.10.) Since it has a HEPA filter, you can tell the air it’s pumping out is not stale, nasty vacuum air - it’s working just like my purifier does.I have yet to take it up to my fully carpeted upstairs, but from my experience with it already, I have full confidence in this vacuum and so much appreciation as a busy, exhausted mom on a single income. One recommendation is that you clean the bristles on all attachments after eat clean so that it’s ready for the next go-around - which is also super easy, unlike the other vacuum we have.If you’re wondering if you should make this purchase, take my word for it - so. Incredibly. Worth it!

Good for quick cleaning but wish I bought a cordless!

Great suction power, power cord is too short, cheap materials
Pros: This little vacuum packs a heavy punch. I was shocked by the suction power. It is excellent for hardwood floors, but just adequate for carpet (the less thick the carpet or rug, the better the vacuum performs and the easier it is to push). It’s lightweight and has excellent maneuverability. It easily gets under couches, beds, and into those hard to reach places like pantries. The multiple attachments (combined with this vacuums power) make this vacuum perfect for cleaning couch cushions, upholstery, and the inside of a vehicle.Cons:It’s biggest drawback is the length of the power cord. It needs another 3-5ft. to make using the vacuum convenient.Second, it’s made with cheap materials. This has no impact on its short-term durability, but it makes me question the units longevity. Because the plastic is cheap, it makes it difficult to change the attachments (the attachments are one of the things that make this vacuum worth the purchase).Third, and this is not a major issue, the design of the handle causes your hand to tire after vacuuming for an extended period of time.Overall, I give this product 4 stars at a price point of $40. It’s powerful for its size and makes cleaning convenient. If it’s more than $40, I would pass on this vacuum and look elsewhere.

You know what, the kid's alright
Right up front, let me state that my rating is this good considering the price and quality and comparing it to my $15 Bissell stick vacuum. I'm not comparing it to a high end vacuum. It's not amazing, but I have actually been quite happy with it.Pro's: - the suction is pretty good. It doesn't deep clean carpet but it's deeper than surface only. On hard floors it's great. - the edge suction / cleaning is good. - handheld suction is really good, I can clean my industrial entry way mat no problem. - I can vacuum under the couch and bed and it stays flat to the floor, which some stick vacuums don't do. You kinda have to position the canister so it's on its side to get the swivel angle correct but it works. - canister is easy to empty. - it's quiet and lightweight.Cons: - the instruction manual is garbage. - there is no brush or roller or self propelling. On some carpet I can't push it, I can only pick it up and pull it toward me. It works. - the cord could be a little longer. -the swivel is kinda sticky sometimes and takes a couple tries to get it to turn. Overall it does ok.

First Impression
June 19, 2020. I honestly wanted to buy a new vacuum to replace our old shop vac because I got tired of having to carry it around. I like the design of the cordless dyson vacuum, but did not like the $300-$400 price tag. With that being said, as of right now, I am super impressed in this product! I made my order on June 16, it shipped out on June 17, and it was delivered all the way here to Hawaii 2 days later!! That is the quickest we’ve received a package even with our Amazon Prime.Once I got home from work, I unboxed the product. It was packaged very safely with extra cardboard inside so nothing could move around. (They also used quite a bit of plastic inside, around 4 to 5 sleeves if that may bother you). Putting the product together was fairly easy. It comes with a pole to extend the length and 4 attachments you can also use with the pole or separately. Once it was put together, I used it for around 20 minutes on our tile floors and it did get a little warm. I think the suction power was pretty good at picking up all of the dog fur on the ground. It also was really easy to maneuver around corners and it felt lightweight in my hand. At this point I would say this was worth the $40. I will update if anything happens.
