I read a few reviews here that people were unable to connect this to their iPad. You can't just try to pair: Like most keyboards there is a key combination to use for different devices. Follow the instructions and it will connect right up.The Excellent:1. Keys & Layout - Perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. After reading some reviews and watching some on YT, I decided this was the one I wanted. Very pleased! The typing experience is second to none. It feels like I'm using a really good keyboard from an expensive laptop. About the same travel as the Steel Series keyboard on my MSI. Key placement is perfect and the key size is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT over any other keyboard I've tried.2. Hinge - The hinge, while small and somewhat wobbly, does hold position under load. It holds the iPad in the exact place I want it, and with the rotation I can easily use it in "tablet" mode.3. Lights - Very attractive lights. Different brightness settings for different situations. In general, I leave them turned off, but at night I've been putting it on the dimmest setting.The Good:1. The Finish - Even though it collects oils from my skin, it still looks great. I'm pleased it's a semi-matte finish. Probably going to toss some stickers on it for some character.2. Weight - I'm a fan of the weight of this. It is certainly heftier than other keyboard options. I'm not interested in having something super light...I want something with good battery that doesn't feel cheap.3. Spacers - The screen is held off the keyboard by some rubber spacers. I was a little concerned that the screen would be rubbing, but that is not an issue with this case.4. Battery - I've charged the keyboard once after opening the package. I've also forgotten to turn it off for three days. Battery is still showing at about 78% on my battery app. Very cool!The Bad:1. This might be a bad just for me, but I got one of those super-thick charging cables for my iPad and it didn't fit in the cutout on this case. I had to switch cables so I don't have to take this case off. Like I say...Not a big issue, just something I didn't think about.My bad:1. This is my fault..Before I switched the charging cable for one that fits the cutout, I had taken my iPad out and left the case on my bed. My kid jumped on it not noticing it was there. The power button was cracked, but I was able to repair it with super glue. Not a fault in the case...Just something to note. Don't leave this where your kid might jump on it. Haha

My keyboard case came today, and I have to say, I am impressed! The case fits my iPad Pro perfectly, and seems very sturdy and protective. The hinge seems sturdy and seems as if it will hold up well. It holds my ipad in perfect position and stays where I put it. The keys have a nice feel to them, and I can use this even while holding it on my lap as the keyboard itself is not bendable at all like the Apple keyboard is. The keys are very responsive and there is no lag at all when typing. Pairing was extremely easy, and after fully charging the keyboard, I was paired and up and running within minutes.I love how the hinge can turn a full 360 degrees, and if I want to use my iPad in tablet mode, the keys are covered by the case. When the case is closed, the keys do not touch my ipad at all. And when using in tablet mode, the keys are not pressed by the back of the case. There is plenty of clearance space so that the keys do not get pressed accidentally.The pencil fits perfectly in the slot provided, and charges while in the storage slot. It is held very securely in place and is very easy to remove when I want to use it.All in all, at this point, I am very happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend.If anything does go wrong with this case, I will update my review, but right now, I have to say, this case is stellar!

I must of received a defective case. It happens. My case would not pair but was recognizable by Bluetooth. I am glad I was able to at least get the product and in the end I am glad it did not work. Why? It felt cheaply made (plastic). Some of the keys looked flimsy and look like they will fall off over time. That was my first thought while unpacking. I then put my iPad 3rd Gen in the case and it felt like the case was too small. In fact the case was kid of bowed when I put it completely in. It seemed to straighten out after a little while but by then I was frustrated with it not being able to connect so not positive but for sure the one I received was slightly smaller. I am very tech savvy and have been working with mobile devices for years (i.e. Bluetooth connection). This would not pair at all. It recognized the case but would not pair. A message stating it was taking to long to pair would come up and it would time out ( I tried several times). Also the case charging port is cheap and the included charging cable was a flimsy fit and in my opinion will break over time.On a good note the keyboard lights worked well and they it has three different levels of brightness.My final Verdict is that this is a very basic case not worth the price (based on build quality). I have seen similar versions for much less. The plastic piece that holds the iPad is very cheap and the rest of it is just okay. For almost $80, I expected much better quality and better design.

I purchased the IVSO keyboard case for my IPAD PRO, 12.9 inch, 2018, 3rd Gen tablet in September 2019. The case looked great but had a crack in one of the corners of the case. I retuned it within the 30 day Amazon window. Received a replacement and it was great for 6 months. Then a crack started to appear next to the hinge. It slowly grew and grew and now the case is separating in two. I contacted the seller to obtain assistance with the 1 year warranty and have received no reply from them after four messages over two weeks time. As it stands, my tablet case is unusable when I rotate it into tablet mode so I am looking for another brand. If I had it to do all over again, I would save my money and by a slightly more expensive tablet from a reputable seller that honors the warranty and facilitates a repair. Strongly suggest you look elsewhere. If they ever decide to honor their warranty, I will update this review.
