Charger very easy to use and easy to be confident in its function. Occasionally, one of my cars will deplete it's battery due to an engineering mistake. The battery is still good, but it is run down by that engineering problem. It has happened twice during COVID-19. This device restore the charge overnight each time.What I do not like is the device does not sense the battery voltage and change to that voltage. Each time, I have had to change from the default 6V charge setting.

I have a "challenged" battery in an older car that tends to discharge if not driven for several days (which happens often).Connecting this (very-portable) smart charger, I am able to keep the battery "up to snuff" without worrying about overcharging. Works well- Good purchase.

Just attached it to the battery and is registering correctly- The battery was fully charged and will check over the winter to see that this maintains a full charge.

I've NEVER written such a negative review. I have several cars and motorcycles. EVERY charger with an SAE style plug has the 12v "hot" lead shielded by the female side of the plug. Not this one! If you use the supplied battery hookup lead, you'll leave the 12v side of the plug exposed to grounding. Adding insult to injury, there is no fuse on the hookup lead. Direct short across the battery! If you would use this charger on other vehicles with an existing hookup lead, the polarity will be incorrect. This product should be removed from Amazon...

Caution! I would have thought there was a standard regarding the polarity of the bullet connectors-bit this unit is opposite my other chargers, so do not interchange this unit with Battery Tender products as the polarity is different!

Ordered this as a small unit to keep my mostly parked Suburban charged up. Works great!

Simple to set up and operate, little bit noisy when it's running.

If this helps, I purchased this trickle charger for my wife's amg mercedes convertible as it stands for the winter in the barn, ideal for just keeping the battery in top condition, I permanently fitted the charger unit into the engine bay and just installed a waterproof lead connector plug for the extension lead, works perfectly, I purchased the same one last year for my range rover as that sits outside all year but come the winter after a few days of cold weather it would struggle to start not being used every day, again works well with no problems, totally recommended 10/10,

Be very careful to read instructions as to to connections. The charger worked a treat to start with then after a couple of days using as a top up for the caravan leisure battery it showed fully charged but obviously by the charge meter in the caravan it wasn't charging. Contacted company and they sent a replacement out within a week although it was outside the amazon 30 day policy. will keep this up to date regarding replacement.
