Not the real thing
I have a damp and mouldy room in my house due to a blocked downpipe that is now fixed. To avoid having to rent or borrow a dehumidifier again I decided to purchase one, so I can start drying the wall out quicker.This particular dehumidifier has no compressor so I was dubious about it but decided to take the plunge because it had a 5 star customer review. I would have been more than happy if it could take 300-500ml per day out of the air and I don't think that is unrealistic as the humidity level in the small room is currently 67% and the specifications of the little unit is decent.After a 24 hour period the tank had about 40ml in it. That is disappointing. I returned it and purchased a 12 litre dehumidifier with a compressor in it. It has just arrived and I have pulled 400ml in 3 hours. The humidity level has dropped to 54%.Don't waste your money on this, spend a little more or find a second hand one like I did.

Inefficient
Nice & neat, smart looking,fairly quiet but not as powerful as expected. It does not seem to collect much water even when left on constantly in a small damp room. (Holiday home) Disappointed considering how much it costs. Would not recommend it.

Poor performance
Looks good, is small and lightweight as advertised. However the purpose is to remove moisture from the environment and it failed in this. It says it will remove up to 700ml in 24 hours. However it only managed 150ml in 24 hours in a small room with washing to dry, running it over 2 days. Had I wanted this level of performance I could have bought something at half the price. The product has been returned and replaced with a condensing dehumidifier the same day which removed almost 2 litres of water in less than 24 hours. I live in a very old cottage requiring constant damp control which has been managed for years with the use of an adequate dehumidifier. I did not assess energy efficiency.

Excellent Dehumidifier
In Scotland there is a lot of rain. Every day at home gives a wet feeling. Later, I heard a friend said that there is such an artifact as a dehumidifier and bought it home. After using it for a few days, I found that it sucked a lot of water, and it felt refreshed at home. I'm so happy that I fell in love with it.

Very useful
Had to purchase this due to my tenant having condensation issues, gradually getting under control.

It's louder than expected
Does the job, has bright lights but is quite noisy if sleeping in the same room or trying to watch TV!

Smaller than expected and faulty
It was poor quality, flimsy and didn't work.
