I have not had a problem with the bottle opener but as of yet I have not been able to open a jar using the opener. I have a steel plate in my right wrist due to a fall and breaking it on both sides so that is what caught my attention. I have now been able to get a jar open with the tool yet. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

My mom and I have gripping issues and I noticed that both of us were using garage tools to open our water bottles. The garage tools didn't work well but at least we could open most of our bottles. But then I saw this and OMG, Life changer. The yellow tool is my favorite. It slips easily over a lid and with very little effort the cap unscrews, every time. I am so impressed I bought one for my mom for Christmas. It was my proudest gift I have given. It may seem like big deal but when you cant open a water bottle, you feel so weak and disappointed and thirsty, so very thirsty. Mom and I use this product daily and love it!!!

The jar opener works like a dream, no slippage. I have rheumatoid arthritis and have trouble opening things. The jar opener definitely made it easier to open those stubborn jars. Haven't had occasion to use can/bottle opener yet.

I'd bought the jar opener at BB&B but it broke opening a jar cover that had sticky contents inside. They didn't carry it anymore so I bought one of those V shaped plastic ones that was horrible! Then I found this on Amazon with not only a low price but with a bottle opener in addition.

I have another jar opener in the same style. This one is harder plastic, my other has a softer finish and is not as good with hand arthritis.The other opener has an easier grip and opens some bottles that others do not.

This is a great tool l have had one for years it has been used a 1,000 times & more, l love it. I needed another one as my original one of a different manufacturer didn’t fit the smaller water bottle caps Unfortunately neither did this one.Quality & comfort fit in the hand are perfect plus it comes with another handy bottle opener, great value.

As an arthritis sufferer (hands) I was thrilled when I found this opener set. I've used both tools and am glad I made the purchase - they are very handy and helpful. My only issue so far is w/ the bottle opener's twist-off tool. It is a bit too large and doesn't grip the caps as it should. Because this is a key reason for my purchase I gave the product 4, vs 5, stars.
