Broken spindle after only 200 miles
The size of the handlebar clamp was surprising as it is is large an 'clunky'. The phone frame sits at least 3cm above the handlebars. Nevertheless the mount worked quite well with a limited amount of vibration. However the centre spindle snapped with no warning during a ride.............luckily I managed to catch my phone otherwise it would have been in pieces on a busy road as I had no secondary safety fixing. This failure was after less than 200 miles of cycling and is not acceptable given the potential cost of failure if the phone had been damaged.Afternote: the supplier was very quick to respond with an immediate offer to replace or refund. I have opted for the latter as I cannot accept the possibility of my phone being smashed by falling from my bike. Top marks to the supplier for excellent service but unfortunately the product is flawed therefore three stars.

Looks good, minor quibbles
Looking good so far. Feels robust. A couple of minor quibbles that have lost it one star.My son's phone is turned on with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. That makes it a little awkward to use with this holder. The same probably applies to most other holders out there as well as this one, so something to watch out for. (Might apply to one of your future phones if not your current one.)When I had it mounted without a phone in there was vibration of the 'ear' pieces. This happened to tune in with the electric motor on our tandem to make quite an irritating rattle. We would not normally mount it without a phone, and I'm sure a little care could stop that issue anyway.

Brilliant phone holder
I got this to hold my phone on a camera jib/ crane used for filming. The phone acts as a controller for the camera and the designers never thought of this when they built the equipment.Luckily this nifty little device is perfect for the job. It attaches within a minute and holds most size phones. Its steady, even during movement and the phone is secure.I don't regret buying it and have even recommended to my colleagues.Never tried it on a bike so can't review for that unfortunately.

Secure, solid. Reliable
Tried many. This is the best so far. Shorter smooth journeys you don't even need the rubber straps to hold the phone securely buy once off-road on rough ground the straps mean you don't have to worry about your expensive phone falling out of the mount. Clamp is secure and does exactly what it needs to do.As long as your phone is waterproof, or it's a nice day, this is the perfect mount. After using for 1 week I bought the wife one as well.

Camera blocked on Samsung S7 Edge
This relates to a Samsung S7 Edge, the elastic straps Interferes with Side buttons and blocks camera. I find that I have to use just the bottom straps to overcome that problem. However the clamp and the two bottom straps are good enough to securely hold the phone , over normal pathways, not over rough terrain. Clamp is easy to fix, so can easily be removed, with phone for temp stop. Left for longer periods without phone and would be easy for anyone to remove!

Not on a bike on a shopping trolley
I got this to put on my shopping trolley because I have got cerebral palsy and can only use one hand and sometimes I have to use my navigation then put it in my pocket and I hope I can hear it but now I put my phone in the cradle and it just gives me direction Like it would normally do if I was holding it so if you haven’t got much use in Your Hands this is ideal for you

Rock solid device.
This is the best £6.99 I’ve ever spent. Could not believe the weight and quality of this product. The ‘belt n braces’ philosophy of the design is brilliant. There is no way this will let go of your phone while riding your bike. I would be happy to pay twice the price, even three times. Well done to the design team, and whoever’s responsible for pricing, you deserve an award. 👏👏👏👏

Worked well until it broke.....
Was very pleased with this product, right up until the plastic shaft between the mount and the cradle spontaneously broke last night when I was riding home (fortunately the phone wasn't in it at the time!). The design of the mount itself is good and the grip on the handlebar is sturdy enough, but the plastic appears to be sub-standard as I've only had the thing for just under six months. Just lucky I had the phone in my pocket I guess!
