It slices strawberries (or anything really) beautifully, with no crushing.Be careful, it's quite sharp.You get evenly sliced strawberries. I've found that the appearance of the slices varies if I rotate the fruit position. Works great on boiled egg pieces (not whole ones) .I wish it was larger so I could slice other things, but it's perfectly sized for strawberries. Doesn't take up a lot of space and is easy to clean. I just rinse it in the sink. Haven't tried it in the dishwasher.If it starts to dull, you even have access to take a diamond file to the edges of the blades! (rinse before cutting again you don't want to ingest the filings)Great gadget. I'm probably going to get a dehydrator now.. Strawberry chips... Peach chips... Woo Hoo!

Simple to use, slices through strawberries without any effort! Easy to clean and store. Good value.

I actually purchased this strawberry slicer for a friend because she saw me use mine. I love using it, but more importantly, my husband loves using it. He likes to put strawberries and bananas on his cold cereal. It is super easy to use. I recommend getting one.

I have a yellow plastic banana slicer that I used to multitask as a strawberry slicer. It was great with bananas - not so much with the harder strawberries. This device slices through strawberries "like butter". The OCD part of me wishes the instructions or the Amazon ad would provide hints on the best orientation of the strawberry for optimal slicing without squishing. It does not seem to matter with normal size strawberries, but during the prime growing season the tray from the grocery store usually includes some "big mommas" that are slightly overripe and tend to get squished against the front red lip of the slicer. I deal with this by starting the slice, then release the handle and push the berry back into the slicer's maw, and resume the slice.

I want to absolutely love these slicers but they don’t last as long as they should. They are amazing while they do last and are fast while cutting the strawberries and I like these so much better than all the other options out there. The only thing is the spring breaks too soon on these, they need to be stronger!

Works as advertised

Use it all the time for cutting strawberries, bananas, olives etc. It's sturdy. Easy to use. Easy to clean, run water over it and put in dishwasher. Highly recommend.

I don't often leave reviews, but if you see me leaving one with five stars, then you know it is an excellent product.I purchased this strawberry slicer because I love to dehydrate food and cook, but hated having to cut up the small fruits.What the manufacturer doesn't really emphasize is that this strawberry slicer can be used to cut mushrooms, eggs, grapes ... any small fruits that will fit in the pretty large chamber where the razor blades are.What I also like about this product is that it is not a cheaply made, flimsy product.The plastic is pretty thick and sturdy and holds up well to thick and hard-to-cut foods. I would caution you to be careful in putting your fingers in the cutting chamber because those blades are super sharp.I have been using this strawberry cutter just for strawberries but realized that I can also use it in the kitchen to slice other foods versus having to purchase a separate egg slicer, grape slicer, etc.I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is tired of hand cutting smaller fruit or veggies in the kitchen to invest in this slicer. You will be VERY HAPPY with this product.(I am going to buy a second one for my second home's kitchen!)

Love this strawberry slicer. We had one before but the plastic broke and it was not very ergonomic to use. This one is easy slices up strawberries quickly and is very simple to clean absolutely perfect for when we make our strawberry waffles

... aber die Erdbeeren sind schön gleich geschnitten. Allerdings klappt es auch nur mit kleineren Früchten, ansonsten stehen sie über und sind nicht richtig geschnitten am Rand. Kann man kaufen, aber ein Eierschneider macht das selbe :-) und man muss nicht auf die Größe achten.
