OEG Parts New Starter Compatible With Outboard Marine OMC Evinrude Johnson 200-300HP 1988-2011 391511, 396235, 397023, SAB0029, 41021054

The part was delivered 2 days ahead of schedule and worked perfectly. It was very easy to install (4 bolts and power cable all easily accessible). It remains to be seen if the part is durable.It is also compatible with the OEM Evinrude Johnson BRP Outboard Starter Motor - 586957 on my 2017 Evinrude Etech 115hp. It appears that the part compatibility list in the product description needs to be updated.

Received quickly, exactly as described, bolted right up, took about 20 minutes to install, worked perfectly! Pleased with this purchase!

This is probably the worst piece of Chinese garbage I’ve ever bought off of Amazon. And I’ve bought a lot of things not only did the starter fail spring broke. Pinion gear won’t engage, needless to say, I never even got it in the water, although it did get some dew on it from the morning within three days it was rust, this is made with the cheapest metal by the cheapest manufacturing plants in the world. If you’re trying to trust that your boat will start when your inner out of the water don’t buy this piece of crap.
