But they sent it in a bag instead of a box. It wasn’t even bubble-wrapped. How annoying! It doesn’t seem to be broken. I bought it for emergency preparedness and I need to be sure it works.This item, along with many other Oxo items, was tested and recommended by a chef’s website that refuses to advertise.

After buying 2 can openers in a store, and both being duds, I was worried about this purchase. But this is the best can opener I’ve had in a long time. Easily locks onto the can and is easy to turn. I have arthritis in my thumbs but this was breeze to use. Very smooth to operate. I no longer dread opening cans !!

Love this can opener!!! After wrist surgery, I thought I would have to start using an electric can opener. Nope! My Physical Therapist recommended this one, and it is extremely smooth and super easy to use. Very pleased!

This can opener is solid and well-built and requires very little force to open a can. A great product.

The turn handle is large and doesn’t fit in drawer at certain angles. Opens cans beautifully.

I love this can opener. It glides right through it. The grip is so easy and no straining your hand muscles to grip it. If the one I have ever breaks I will be purchasing again.

I made a mistake and bought a highly recommended can opener of another brand which looked good but couldn't open cans. This, on the other hand, is great. The over-sized handles are comfortable and it does a great job of opening cans of various sizes. This is a great can opener at a great price.

I love the large twist handle—it's easy to grip and glides smoothly while twisting. The handles are very comfortable. I love all my OXO products!
