The media could not be loaded. I was very happy with this reciever, now it is a piece of crap. Thought I was the only one who was having issues. I just looked again and others are having the same issue as I am., static, speakers and it only has gotten worse. I am determined to get this fix since it does have a 1 year warranty. We will see how far this gets me and and I will repost if I get it fixed at no charge. ( Original review) great receiver. Has the 5.2 speakers. Sounds great, remote is great as well. Takes a little to get use to. Bluetooth works great . Not a novice, but I am not sure what you could want more of. SOUNDS GREAT!!!! PYLE has been around for years. Orginally made speakersI only have one complaint, when in standby mode the light on the front panel flashes. Kinda of annoying

1. Line in from PC ; Only one speaker works (front right)! {even after rotating speakers}2. When playing tuner {radio}, only two speakers work {fr rt and fr lt} nothing else and no amount of fiddling with remote or device changes anything3. No real "low volume"; level 1 is loud in a quiet setting level 0 is off.4. When listening to tuner {radio- even with only two speakers working } a lot static and Feedback5. Bluetooth sometimes works sometimes not6. Website has no forum and no tech support--- BUT there is a lie about tech support 24/7 tech support that reloads home page7. No support but they have a email me thing. Which I do not trust nor want to be on that spam ad campaign list especially since there is no support on the website. in other words- I don't trust them and will never purchase an item of this company's again.8. On a plus side I did receive this item ahead of delivery date and it seemed new and unopened so there is that. Plus all items were there. To bad that is the only plus.I waited too long to test if the product worked so, no return/refund {that is on me and I except that}. Pyle had One shot with this product {with me as a customer} they blow it. Yes It is a low cost item but it still was not worth the price and time wasted shopping for it , and does not even work as a low spec affordable item. Sad; and they claim to be a USA company out of NYC. I guess I'm back to made in Japan for my electronics.

The sound quality and sound adjustability are fantastic but unfortunately the optical plug does not work. When plugged in it's intense repetitive barepetitive base. I've unwired and rewired everything. Even bought new optical wire. It still doesn't work. The bypass so that you can operate your TV without the stereo only works if the stereo is still on. Very loud fans to keep the system cool so I imagine it overheats pretty easily. You have to have your music up pretty loud to cover up the sound of the fans. I would highly recommend shopping for something else

Very happy with amp. Has subwoofer amplified signal as well as line, which makes best use of my multiple subwoofer setup. Took me a lot of tweaking with tv output setting and amp settings to get them to talk nice to each other, including ARC control, but works great now. Passed 5.1 + 1 true signal being decoded.

I've had this for 2 years now and while I happy in the beginning I've gotten dissatisfied over time.When using the radio I have noticed that the rear channel is not clear, it has a constant hiss with the music.I also had to stop using the 4K passthrough and run my components (xbox one, Roku ultimate) directly to my projector (and then run audio from projector to the Pyle RCA inputs) because of issues with it not properly recognizing the 4K (HDR, 24hz).I have recently decided to start looking at alternatives (which is why I decided to add this review).

Absurdly bright power LED. Absurdly busy and bright display. No button to turn the display OFF. This is under my TV and needs to be blocked by cardboard to keep it from distracting from the screen. Note I have placed two layers of blue tape over the red power LED and that has helped, but that still leaves the constantly dancing screen, always screaming "look at me! Aren't I NEAT?"As you can see from the picture, this device does not need to be nearly as deep as it is. inches could have been cut off it. It currently protrudes from my TV cabinet, which is utterly unnecessary.You can also see from the picture that the heatsink in it is poorly oriented (hot air rises) and the fan is poorly placed, as are the ventilation holes (not shown) in the overall cover.Let's go back to that fan. You buy a stereo to listen to amplified inputs not to a FAN. A stereo should not have a fan. The heatsink and air flow should be designed so air naturally moves up through the heatsink and air flows up through the heatsink and exits. This system is absurdly badly designed in that respect, and thus resorts to a fan. But the fan they put in it is small, fast, loud, and crappy. The one in mine now makes a rattling vibration noise, above an beyond the overly fast movement of air in the box (air which just gets hot in the box and doesn't have good escape flow).Note also that there's no heat sensor, so the fan is always on.This thing is a complete fail. Based on this, I recommend you avoid not just this stereo but the Pyle brand entirely. The brand is 62 years old, per Wikipedia, but this box looks like an amateur job by a new company.By the way, the front says 'PyleUSA.com' -- the back says "MADE IN CHINA".

Good quality, great price and a lot of different functions. We hooked this up as a surround sound for our basement tv/Xbox. Sounds great. I would highly recommend.
