I recently got my hands on the NOCO Boost X GBX45 1250A 12V UltraSafe Portable Lithium Jump Starter, and it has quickly become an essential item in my car for peace of mind. The multifunctionality of this device is what sets it apart. Not only is it a powerful jump starter, but its ability to double as a device charger using USB-C technology is a game changer for me. The USB-C feature provides the convenience of charging modern devices. I'm slowly rotating out all my old devices for those that utilize USB-C. It's nice to carry a single charger and single type of cable around on trips. One of the standout features for me is the flashlight function, which adds an extra layer of utility, especially in emergency situations or low-light conditions. While I haven't yet had the opportunity to use it for jump-starting my truck, the sheer power and capability of this device leave me confident that it won't disappoint. The charging speed of the NOCO Boost X is impressive – it recharges quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring it's ready when needed. This quick recharge capability, coupled with the fact that it can go from 0% to jump-starting readiness in just five minutes, is incredibly reassuring. The peace of mind this jump starter provides is invaluable. The added features like UltraSafe 2.0 technology, with its spark-proof design and reverse polarity protection, enhance the safety aspect, which is crucial for a device like this. My motorcycle is on a solar trickle charger in the winter. I've always been a little nervous that it might not keep the thing charged... now I don't have to worry. In summary, the NOCO Boost X GBX45 is more than just a jump starter; it's a comprehensive roadside assistance device. Its multi-functionality, fast charging, and safety features make it an indispensable gadget for any vehicle owner. Works great, even when not fully charged!
I haven't used mine yet (got another as a gift, too), but got the same exact model a friend has. I was leaving work, and my truck battery decided to die that day. I went to turn my key, and only a "click", not even enough to turn the starter at all. I got my friend from inside work to come out and give me a jump start (I had cables with me). Instead, he pulls this out of his car and hooks it up to my battery. I ask him if I wait a minute before trying to start it, he told me to try right away. My truck started up right away! He then told me his starter wasn't even completely charged (he hadn't charged it for a little while). That was it, I was sold! Having cables is great if someone else is around, but what about when nobody is around? This thing covers that! Powerful, and has the other features listed. The only thing missing was a charger. It has the cable, but not the plug. So if you don't have one for this, get that too when you order this (C type charger).

Just Buy it, its completely worth it
Just go ahead and buy it, it’ll save you one day trust me. Let me tell a little true story basically I’m a base head and I wanted a sub in my jeep so I took the kicker sub and amp I had in my truck and put it in my Cherokee unfortunately we did not reconnect the cable that travels from the alternator to the battery bus bar however the cable was on the post, the first sign of the problem occurred when the stop/start system was disabled shortly after driving away. I thought this was because the car detected the subwoofer was now drawing power so it disables the system so I ignored it. We did all this on Saturday evening and everything was going smooth, Until “Wednesday” came around. So I’m driving to work on the interstate in the first three warnings that came appeared were ABS, Stability Control, and my parking brake were all disabled. Forgot to mention my card did start mentioning something about a low power state but I didn’t know what that was about but now I know; Anyways I stop at a red light, and things start to get real problematic first my AC starts turning on and off and then my head unit blacked out. I put the card in park because I didn’t know what was going on. I opened the back of my jeep manually as the Rear powered door is also disabled. I glance over at my Subwoofer Amp (Kicker 800.1) and I see two lights on at the same time power and protect meaning the voltage in my car battery was below 10 1/2 V and I verified that with my multimeter as I work with AC units so I jumped my car battery off with a little bit of voltage from the pack and I was able to quickly get to work in the afternoon. It turns out I did not reattach the nut nuts for the battery lead meaning the car battery was never truly charging. If you’re thinking about buying a cheaper, one of these, you might want to stick with this brand as they are very reputable charge very quickly through USB-C power delivery, which is very handy. It is in my opinion the safest jump pack as you cannot short the output unless you override the pack, which I have done before sorry about that Noco, but I had to experiment. Sheep was work, but they’re usually made with cheaper batteries so they don’t hold a charge very well and they die pretty quickly so it might be only good for six or seven cranks. This jump pack also has many safety features and temperature protection. And it has a flashlight. I don’t know what else to say but I strongly recommend buying this jump pack. It’ll save you when you’re in a jam and it saved me from being stuck at a green light.

Awesome Jump Starter that just works!!
After reading many reviews and looking at different options, I decided to go with the Noco Boost X GBX45. All I can say, it just works! Hooked it up to my V6 Honda Accord with a dead dead battery and it started on the first crank. I was so impressed I'm going to order another one for my SUV. Very easy to use once you read the instructions. If you are on the fence, just take the plunge and get one. It really provides another level or security knowing if your battery dies suddenly you have it available to assist.
