Must buy for anyone
For price this is great for anything but paint! I’ve had this gun for over a year and it’s well built, if you are just getting into paint work this is a great gun for primer!!!

Great for beginners!
I did a good amount of research and narrowed down my search to this spray gun, with the assistance of a paint and body professional that I know. The price was amazing, and everything was of good quality. Setup was as expected and the literature that comes with the kit explains the initial setup well. I did a few practice sprays before doing my first actual project. Everything worked out great and thos was a very easy gun to use. I am verh happy with the spray pattern and cannot wait to tackle a larger job!

Good deal, made well and does a good job for me at the non professional level.
For an entry level kit, this thing rocks. I'm from the old siphon feed paint gun days and changed over to HVLP a couple years ago when I got back into painting. Problem was, the guns I got were really crappy designs and builds - unbeknownst to me. I was having one heck of a time laying down clears, especially satin and flat. Some of my larger metal flakes were a bit wonky too. On a whim, I decided to get these and see what happened. My old siphon was a DeVilbiss, so I figured I'd give them a go. Man am I glad I did. Talk about a world of difference. I've put down some pearls, color flake clear and satin clear that came out perfect. Talk about making an old fart that was out of practice look good. My base coats even look better now. I don't know if these would hold up to professional use on a daily basis. But, for doing a few bikes or cars a year, these will do it.

Wow! Good spray guns to start with for the price!
The media could not be loaded. Wow! For the price compared to other HVLP top line spray guns it is nice ! I bought a DeVibiss Plus+ and I want to say the Startingline spray gun did better! Maybe because the settings were easier to set? But I paint metallic black-chrome and pearl blue white on my mowers. I used both the detail gun and the base spray gun that came with the kit. The case I also love. It holds the items well.Only cons i can say is that some parts of the spray guns feels like plastic and to remove the spray tips with care. Also the detail gun spray needle leaked , but I fix it by lubricating the end of the spring-needle because it was dragging in the port.Just buy it if you do not want spend a lot of money on the high end spray guns. I recommend to have the lower knob: fan open wide and the fluid knob on the top almost closed or one to two turns open.I used a Mikita 5.2gal 3hp compressor. I paint one panel at a time with 20psi. Amazing results! Highly recommend !

Great spray guns for the price!
I have seen a few reviews stating these guns are made offshore. That is true and for this price that is what you should expect. It doesn't detract from the spray pattern you can get from each of these guns though. I have been painting cars for 35 years and have used cheap throw away guns up to my Sata remote gun system that cost nearly 2k so I know what a gun should and shouldn't do.With these guns being mass produced like they are there is a chance you can get a lemon so right when you get your guns test them with solvent. Put the cup on (hand tight only, if it leaks tighten slightly) and adjust the air at the gun very low 10-15 psi and see what kind of pattern you can get spraying against a brown piece of cardboard. Adjust the air pressure, fan width and volume (needle) until you get what looks like a cigar shape on the cardboard when you goose the gun real quick. If it is fat on top or bottom check that the gun is clean and try again. If it is still fat on top or bottom return them and get new ones. These guns have a pretty nice chrome finish which helps during clean up. Try and stay away from anodized guns and ones that are not smooth as paint is harder to clean from them. I recommend the "DeVilbiss DPC8 Spray Gun Cleaning Bottle - 16 oz. Capacity" found here on Amazon for $6.50. It will save you more than that on lacquer thinner in two cleanings. These guns need to be taken apart right after each use for cleaning. Treat the fluid nozzle and needle with care. If you drop them you will probably have to replace them to get a good pattern again. Most people using HVLP guns use way to much air pressure at the gun. Heavy bodied primers you might need 20 psi or so but base coats and thin clears stay around 10-15 psi. They use high volumes of air, not high pressure to atomize the fluid. See how low you can go and get good atomization on a test piece. Also make sure to use the correct fluid nozzle/needle for the material you are trying to spray. Thin material 1.0, med 1.3 and heavy stuff 1.8. At 1.8 I am not sure these can spray latex paint though.
