Love how easy it was yes you hsve to do more then just plug a few wire connectors but not cutting wires follow the directions an. Perfection. It works like a dream. I say it's well beyond worth it . I will be suggestion too friends this product . even to install for them

Easy to install. No cutting any wires. Taking apart the steering column was the hardest part. Once that was done, it was easy to finish. The range only works as far as the keys currently work.

'13 Honda Pilot EX-L.Install was straightforward - there is a QR code in the instructions that links to a nice video showing how to open the steering column and make the connections. This is a nicely designed cable set and unit.Route the connectors and cables to the right side of the steering column (as you face it), and the covers can go back on easily. I spent most of my install time on cable management, but I am a fastidious person. The cables are plenty long to put the controller box anywhere you want under the dash. I put mine on the far left near the car's fuse box.NOTE: During programming, my unit NEVER flashed the green indicators on steps 3 or 11, but nonetheless it functions as expected. I did write to customer service to double check, but was told that if the unit is functioning then programming was successful. So ... don't be discouraged if you don't see the green flashes - just complete the programming steps as instructed and then check if the unit responds to the key fob signal.Once installed and programmed, the product functions as described - nice to be able to use the original keys!

Easy installation. The instructions for putting it back and securing the module once installed should be better, but overall, it was an easy process.

I am not the most mechanical inclined person. Instructions and video were clear and easy to follow. Only glitch I had was the one locking part on the plug needs to be pulled out farther than you would think.Works great. Range is limited to key fob range. I’ve just started parking in a closer space at work.Good value for the money. Very happy with purchase. Will probably get for my other car.

Remote start would not program after install. I am very familiar with car electronics and have worked for several years as an install tech. I have tried several ways to program it. By the included instructions (to the letter) and the way some youtube videos showed it had to be done for them. It would not work at all.I contacted StartX. And the next day Josh C from StartX replied. He asked for a couple of videos of me programming and trying to start it. Then i didn't hear from him. I next emailed him for a follow-up. He said he will assist me when he can and get to my videos asap. I never heard back from Josh and i just returned the starter unit to Amazon.So my personal and honest experience with this StartX car starter is that it is not very good at all. And customer support is very slow to assist- if even existent.

Easy to install, I enjoy to have this over the winter
