Genuinely love this frame
Pros- decent wood- sturdy frame, at least for the way I paint and create art- not all that difficult to put together- holds decent sized stretched canvas with easeCons- not too keen on the way the tighten knob is behind the top canvas placement- I personally had to reach out to Viswin for the build manual as mine was missingSo the cons are probably minor, hence why I'm still giving it 5 star. I did get it on sale to be fair but I think I would have been happy if I had confidence in the brand like I do now, at the original price.I'll start with the top section. It's a great idea, I just feel like it's a second hand thought. Who ever designed it (I assume not someone at Viswin since it's not the only easel to have the same design) could have potentially changed it up. To be fair, it works. But I'd definitely only use it for references, photos or canvas board. The stretched canvas just won't sit right my brain to use it without thinking about how it could stretch the actual canvas if I push to hard using it. It shouldn't. But I'd rather not risk it unless it's only a practise piece. Now as far as the build instructions go, could be an oversight or maybe an older version I received. But Viswin reached out quickly and sent me over the instructions in PDF form. So I printed them out and got to work. And it was relatively easy. I take my time usually and it only took me about half an hour to put together. It's pretty straight forward when you've got the extra assistance there. It's pretty sturdy to be honest. The wheels move decently, at least on the carpet I use it on. It's not too difficult too much either as it's not that heavy when it's stood upright. It's really nice to use. I have no issues with the wood quality either. It all seems sturdy enough, although I'm generally not that rough with easels. It's nicely finished with a smooth finish as well. It's been so much nicer using an upright easel to paint. I'm used to using a small desk easel. This has brought a new lease of life to my creating art. And I don't have to do it on the floor for the larger ones anymore either!Happy to recommend it from my experience. I really do think it's a great product!

Highly recommend
The actual easel is brilliant. Folds flat for storage, has wheels and great range of movements for use. But I also wanted to comment on the customer services, I had a problem with one piece of the easel so contacted customer services. They got back to me super quick and talked me through a possible fix to my issue. I did what they said and problem solved really quickly. Would highly recommend this easel and this company. A+++

Quite ok
The product is as in the picture but it seems small for my large canvases. It was easy to assemble but the hinges for movement are small and make it very unstable.I will try to fix the easel in another way.Otherwise, it seems ok.

Very Poor Quality for the Price -Unusable
I was hoping I would like this easel and I thought that the price tag of £145 would ensure it would be stress-free to use and robust. Instead it is one of my worst purchases on Amazon (out of tens of thousands of items). Straight away two of the black plastic knobs at the back of the easel which are supposed to support the position (once adjusted to the preferred angle) simply snapped off the metal screw fixing in its core. This rendered the easel impossible to use as it couldn't be held in position. I now have it holding my canvas but it moves around which is intensely annoying. I'd be better off just putting the canvas ob the floor! It would be a return job but it had passed the return window by the time I had a chance to build the easel. It also feels rather cheap and nasty and is not what I was expecting. Would definitely not recommend this easel to any serious, or even amateur artist. Disappointing and shoddy. Worth more ib the region of £30-40 at best.

Basic
It’s okay for sketching paintings, not good for bigger paintings. The woodwork is nicely finished, however the hinges are not very sturdy and it wobbles which is annoying. I just use this for smaller paintings.

problems with it
I will keep it as I got it for £118 and. you cannot expect a lot for that. It kinda does the job I need, flip horizontal to varnish (have't tried the task yet) but it is flimsy, so will wait and see how that goes. It could not be expected to be too solid for the price and it does fit ok if well screwed together, but loads of screws need turning to flip between positions. The main concern is the very poor design of all the canvas supports. They do not automatically sit level, so i find I squint at it while tightening the knob to try make it straight and don't always succeed meaning more adjustments. Then the middle c. support is a joke. It would have been so (sooooo) easy to make it double sided instead of letting the top canvas sit precariously on a block that has no groove or shelf edge. You could throw out the knob on the middle support and add a shelf of wood yourself, but why the heck didn't the manufacturer do it? That way you will need to use the top support as a grip to keep everything together but its do-able. Nice, but not fabulous.
