I really enjoy the experience of using this. As others have mentioned there is a distinctive, but not overpowering or unpleasant scent when applying the wax. The scent quickly fades. The wax doesn't need to be warmed though it aids application if warmed briefly using your body heat, in a pocket for example. The instructions provided are clear and helpful. Following the instructions on my rather long beard, I applied a little at a time taking care to spread the product evenly and concentrate on the areas where most hold was required. I feel confident that this will hold my facial hair in the style I like for the whole day. There is no irritation and it does feel as though it even helps to condition my beard a little as well as protect it from the elements. It cleans out easily with a little shampoo and warm water. I highly recommend this beard wax for all styles and lengths of beards and moustaches, and any hair type. This is a great find and I will be ordering more!

Does what it says on the tin - long lasting hold with an inviting fragrance to boot. This has given my growth an extended stay of execution after the collective family eyebrow was raised over its straggly, unkempt status. Now those random horizontal beard hairs are kept firmly in place and my moustache ends can actually be described as dapper. Is there a name for the theraputic action of shaping your moustache ends? If not then there obviously needs to be. Still getting to grips with how much to apply and how often, as the wax doesn't quite superglue a style in place, but I'm sure that this knowledge will come with experience. It'a also worth mentioning that even with postage from the US of A this item was cheaper than most UK products. Well done the Bearded Goon!

This product arrived super fast for an overseas product so firstly thank you for efficient ordering and delivery process. Secondly, I have tried a few of products prior to this including general hair waxes and gel and found them giving awkward facial feel, annoying smell and variable in their hold strength. However I am very impressed with The Bearded Goon's Ridiculously Strong Beard & Moustache Wax, simple to use, smells reasonably good and doesn't linger, no awkward facial feel, holds very well (I don't need to reapply later in the day), my beard looks well groomed within minutes in the morning before heading to work and gives it a great slight shine rather than fuzzy furry look. Great product and I have already recommended it to a couple of my bearded friends.

This Beard wax is. . ok .. realistically i find its the furthest thing from "ridiculously strong" , its not even a little strong. .this is the beard wax that gets a wedgie and its lunch money taken . .(maybe thats a little harsh) . .It is not going to hold a stiff handlebar or anything more daring, but, it will do a decent job of just keeping your beard generally neat and tame. without making it feel real hard or crunchy like a real stiff wax would. smells alright too. so i still keep it handy for a real bad beard day when beard oil just isn't enough.So, if your looking for something "REDICULOUSLY STRONG" this is most certainly not for you. .But, if you want something just to tidy up your beard for the evening i think this will work out for you alright.

I've spent a while growing a long beard which is a little unmanageable of a morning ... by unmanageable I mean a nightmare. I've tried a few different waxes and they were ok but didn't provide the required hold and would mean continuous applications were required.I seen the name of this wax and for obvious reasons it caught my eye as something I was looking for. So I purchased a tin, the delivery was swift except the package split and I was delivered an invoice only. I contacted the seller who responded the same day apologising and issued a replacement which again arrived swiftly (thanks Abigail) so firstly great customer service from the supplier.Now for the wax, the tin is smaller than I expected compared to some other waxes I've tried. However, on trying the wax it only required a small amount to get the required hold so will last me for a while. The wax is thick and needs to be scrapped out with back of hand and heated up before applying. The smell is pretty neutral and doesnt leave any noticeable residue.All in all this is the best wax I've tried to date and will definitely be ordering the item again.

They seem to have changed the recipe recently, removing the Carnauba wax and coconut oil- it also seems to now be 'pine rosin' not 'pine tree resin.' This means that the scent is much reduced, and the wax is much oilier - it doesn't work into the beard as well and produces an uneven stickiness on longer patches, even when brushed through. The tin I received also has a much less secure lid which can be easily be pulled off and needs to be secured with tape when I'm travelling with it, something which never happened before - I have used this wax for about 5 years. I strongly suspect they're trying to make the product more cheaply for a greater profit margin and it isn't working.
