Great quality , waterproof easy to use

I expect this would be a good cover just to protect the generator from weather when it is fully sealed up.However, when you need to roll up a side I don't see any way to secure the flaps to the generator frame. I live in a place that has constant wind and everything has to be secured down or it blows away. The inside of the cover does have 4 tie downs at the top but it should also have several more tie downs so I could attach each flap to the generator frame. But is has nothing like that. I'm sure the flaps blowing in the wind would cause a problem.I'll be forced to do some mods on the cover to secure it to the frame. if you only need it to cover your generator when it's all zippered shut it should be fine, it looks very durable. But i got this to use while running in the rain and it's going to need some work to get full value out of it and make sure the flaps aren't blowing in the wind.

The cover is a bit large for my generator but will protect it from normal dust in the garage. As for protecting the generator from outside weather, I don't think I'll trust it in that capacity. The way it fits on the generator does not appear to cover the power panel and it will fall on the exhaust and create a hazard.

Good value cover with the discount. Works on a Coleman Powermate 6250/5000 watt Subaru gen. It should perform well in hurricane winds since there are many ways to fasten & secure the cover to the frame. Air intake/exhaust & cord access should operate well. Assembly: I laid out the parts in groups on folding table & followed the cartoons in the manual.One issue is the tubes can't be fully inserted into the plastic holders owing to the paint drips on the end of the tubes. I used a wood block and a hammer to drive the tube into the plastic connector. Making sure the segments are equal lengths facilitate the assembly. A consideration is to provide 2 zippers at the top of the black cover would ease access to the gas cap. Refueling can be achieved by only having to undo 1-half of the cover. In summary, it is a good cover, well designed overall, and should perform well in a tropical storm/hurricane.
