CardoPacktalk Neo Motorcycle Helmet Communication Intercom System, Single Pack, Black

I had a FodSport unit before this one and the upgrade was totally worth it! Don't get me wrong, the FodSport unit was fantastic bang for your buck, but this Cardo unit outperforms in every category!Controls on the helmet are very easy to use while riding and the voice controls remove the need to even use physical buttonsfor those who want to use the feature. The voice controls for Cardo work awesome and recognize my voice every time.Sound quality is amazing! This unit is much louder than the FodSport with a significantly higher audio quality. Once again, for the price the FodSport unit is great, but if you are okay with a higher price point, buy the Cardo.I have not used the mesh communication yet (Do not know anyone else with one) but everything I have read suggests the Cardo system is great. I have taken phone calls with the Cardo and I was able to have a conversation, which I could hardly do with the FodSport. They did say my audio was grainy, but I was going 55 MPH on a motorcycle, so I will take it.My helmet is a Scorpion EXO Covert 2. The system fits well on the helmet but the faceplate does not leave much room for the mic. I have the mic near my left cheek, it pushes against my cheek a bit but isn't uncomfortable there and allows me to use the voice features.I do often review products on Amazon, but not to this detail. With the cost of the item I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and I am hoping this review will help someone else make the jump to buy a Cardo!

Missing the IFU. Had to watch a few videos on how to connect it since the instruction booklet was missing from the box for some reason. No way to have it replaced. The unit itself is very nice. Other than managing all the wires under my helmet pads, it was fairly easy to install. Sounds amazing. There is an app you must install to use it and the unit will have to update before its first use. I haven't ridden with it yet, I will update the review later.

Fantastic works. New. Fits my HJC i91 helmet. It is tight fitting now with the speakers in but its worth it. You have to ware it in. Large Helmet.

Got my girlfriend a Cardo for her helmet. Cardo is easy to link two of them together. The sound is clear as day even while riding on the highway at high speeds. Highly recommend Cardo to other riders

I bought this for my husband to go with an older version that I have for my helmet. Not only can we communicate when riding, but it’s awesome to be able to play music, podcasts, or any other streaming service that you might have. Definitely recommend for any rider.

Worked great - till it rained... I was using this thing all around town chatting with my friend but when it came time to use it on my vacation - it failed on day one. I got caught in a downpour and it crapped out. No more communication with my friends, no directions, no music... it was a huge letdown. I've messaged Cardo 3 times over the past two weeks and I haven't received a response.Cardo Claims:1.) "IP67 Waterproof. Tough design with the highest standard" - Nope2.) "WATERPROOF. No matter what you throw at it, your waterproof PACKTALK NEO will take the beating and keep you connected. Rain, shine, mud, dust or snow." - you can hear water in it when you shake itRead up on forums before buying a Cardo. They are inconsistent quality and fail to support their product
