Fairly quick to assemble and good quality too.
Be warned the box it arrives in is big and do open it in the fresh air, not inside the house as it has a strange smell to it when you open the box, a bit like you find in a car garage! The instructions aren't the clearest in the world, but you can very easily work it out, with the short bolts going in the base of the barrow & at the inside front to attach the galvanized supports, the long one's go in the handles and at the base of the galvanized supports near the wheel. My barrow's contents were all present & correct with no missing bolts or nuts and whilst it would be easier to assemble with two people, I found it relatively easy to do on my own using a 13mm socket for the bolts & 17mm socket for the wheel bolt, they say a flat bladed screwdriver is also required, which it is, although your could use a large Torx key to do it as well. From out of the box to fully assembled was about 30 minutes doing it on my own, you could probably knock 10 mins off that using two people. The quality seems to be pretty good, however this is more of a light use wheelbarrow, it says for upto 150kg (330lbs/23.6 st), would I load it that high, probably not, I wouldn't use it for building work as I don't think it would stand up to that sort of use, so you'd be better looking elsewhere for a wheelbarrow for that sort of thing, but for using around the garden and lightweight stuff like bags of fertilizer and seed for which I bought it for, it should be up to the job.

Good price and easy to assemble.
Yes it does arrive in a big box because its a big item and the box smells like mothballs so its best to unpack or build outside.it took me about 20 minutes to build there are 8 bolts. The secret is do not tighten as you build, assemble first finger tight then tighten support stays first followed by the rest.pump up the tyre to maximum 2 bar (28psi).pleased with this wheelbarrow and it looks and feels sturdy for general garden work.

Peace for less than 40 quid.
Ordered Thursday evening at a very reasonable price, compared to others, delivered Saturday morning in a good strong box. Took 10 minutes to put together and the OH is very happy. This was bought to replace the ridiculous and flimsy folding wheelbarrow, I previously purchased for her, which fell apart very quickly. Now she can hump sacks of compost from the front garden, to the back garden without disturbing my football. Bliss!Wheelbarrow looks very big at first glance but it fits easily through my narrow PVCP doors between the gardens. Very strong metal pan which appears to be able to take a lot of punishment and sturdy tubular handles that feel quite comfortable. Large wheel which takes on the doorstep quite comfortably and will hopefully require little maintenance.Impressed with this wheelbarrow and would certainly recommend for the garden.

Not heavy duty
I purchased two of these "heavy duty" wheelbarrows to move some bricks from a garden, expecting them to be of decent quality and a certain level of strength. They didn't even last one day, the thin metal barrow pierced proving it is not heavy duty. The frame work twists with any real weight inside. I was not impressed with this wheelbarrow one bit, I expect the odd dent whilst moving bricks and blocks but the unsturdyness of the frame and the fact the metal pierced a whole in it doesn't warrant this product to be heavy duty. I'm very disappointed with this product and feel like I've wasted £70 some shocking wheelbarrows that I can't really use again now for my type of work. These barrows would be suitible to move a plant or some soil but nothing of heavy duty.

Not great, but OK
Self assembly, it should be really easy, however, as the parts are not particularly well made, they do not fit together easily. The two handle parts just would not fit into frame part and I had to sand the tubes to get them to fit together. This was made all the more difficult as there are razor sharp edges and burrs. The two silver struts that go either side of the wheel looked like they were from a completely different wheelbarrow, the angles were miles out and the instructions didn't help with this. It turns out that you need to but the right angled part of the strut against the frame and the nut and bolt should pull it to the correct angle. For some reason, some of the screws are a basic, cross head, but four of them are torx, so make sure you have a torx set to hand. Why not make all the screws the same type? Or maybe include a torx bit?As others have mentioned, the metal used for the barrow is thin sheet steel and easily dented - Not heavy duty, but fine for the occasional home job. Also, the way these things are packed, means that inevitably, there are going to be some scratches to the paint and bare metal revealed, this will rust very quickly so don't leave it outside!Once built up, the barrow does feel reasonably solid and stable and the pneumatic tyre is good for going over bumpy surfaces. For me, the handles are about 10cm too short. One of the reasons I bought this was that it was made in the UK. You'd be hard pushed to tell the difference in quality between this and a Chinese made wheelbarrow, sadly.

Great barrow, takes a lot of heavy work.
Perfect for my garden. A few reviews mention it wont stand up to building work, however I can say that it survived - and worked very well - in transfering 2x one ton bags of gravel from the road side up 6 steps (with the help of wooden plank ramps) into the garden. It didnt let us down once, and is now happily ferrying soil and other garden bits and bobs between the back and front gardens.Like a few of the other reviews said, the 2 metal braces (non-green parts beside the wheel) are the wrong angle as they haven't been manufactured correctly, but with a bit of a bend with pliers they fit perfectly. Very easy to put up and very sturdy. Perfect!
