Alpha PlusD/Shackle Bike Lock & Carry Bracket APL6300

The lock itself is sturdy enough and a good size for locking your bike to bike-stands and such, but the mechanism seemed dodgy from the start, as unlocking could take quite some fiddling. After 1.5 months of using it, I have been unable to unlock it twice in 1 week and have given up on it. (I did try adding oil to the key-hole but to no avail).Also, although I understand that plastic screws are smart for avoiding rust, I was not too impressed that the mechanism for attaching the lock-holder to the bike involved such plastic screws, as they do not tolerate being unscrewed very well, in case you needed to move the lock-holder,

For the money you can't go wrong. Thick steel and heavy but that's a gshows strength. delivery was fast .keys for lock look quite well made would of been nice to have 3 keys . All Steel is coated in plastic so should not rust but will write another review 6 month of be out in the Elements. But all in all great job alpha Plus .Thanks
