This is a brilliant floor lamp with lots of customisation using the Govee app. Required some assembly, but once I'd figured it out, it's never needed any maintenance or anything. We got it on a deal so it was good price, it's quite large (which is good) and it's got premium materials so it feels sturdy. My kid loves the music mode where it changes the light to the beat of any music. Works great with Alexa routines so we've set up multiples 'modes'. The colours are soft and it gets very bright!

I really like it. I like having it on a slow transition of a few colours when I'm playing on the PlayStation and then I quite enjoy the music feature and how it reacts to sound.I love how bright the white and warm colours are... I'm able to sit and read at night time comfortably as well.I think I'll definitely buy another one at some point. Works well and is quite minimalistic when placed in a corner, although I feel it is slightly overpriced. Easy to put together and the screwdriver is provided too. Overall, it is quite well built with nice RGB effects and the base has RGB illumination as well which is nice.Connectivity to HomeKit is only available through Matter and it is very picky of your WiFi network to work properly. After experimentation, the lamp must be connected using the Govee app to your WiFi network and it must be only 2.4Ghz. Mixed 2.4/5Ghz (using the same SSID) networks will not work well and cause intermittent connectivity with HomeKit. In addition, the HomeKit hub (either Apple TV or HomePod) must be connected to the same 2.4Ghz network. Ethernet does not seem to work.HomeKit does not offer the same level of customisation as the Govee app, and HomeKit automation is limited to solid colour lights only. Animated/multicoloured lights have to be set using the Govee app.Hopefully, these issues with Matter can be addressed in the future.

These are great, absolutely beautiful colours and so easy to use. Comes with a remote but the app is so easy to set up. I have lots of Govee lights and can turn them all on and off without getting up, can set times so they come on as it gets dark or to help me wake up, when I'm away on holiday etc. The black one looks stunning in my sons white room, I got a silver one for downstairs, both are fab. You can set scenes, I love the cheery blossom one, makes my room look so warm and cosy. Lots and lots to experiment with!

This lamp is fantastic and tech gone mad. Firstly it is a fantastic lamp with terrific lighting effects. It can be used with or without the app. Using the app provides so many different lighting effects and they are all fantastic. There are many "moving" lighting effects where the colours continually change from top to bottom, or the middle up and down.You can also set it to respond to music which again is great (although not so great when speech only)The photos were taken in daylight so not so good.The light has so many features including timer and is Alexa compatible.Overall we just love it but it's not cheap.Very well packaged but make sure you read the assembly instructions otherwise you might be wondering what the extra two screws are, only to find out they give you two extra screws!!Why only four stars? it's expensive.

This upright light so controllable, so well made, just screams quality and it's pretty easy to assemble, but the thing that really sets this light apart is the level of control you can have using a voice assistant, we use Alexa.I wanted to say in the first line of this review that this light is so bright, but given the fact that if you need a light that's not blinding then that wording would be offputting, but, this light can be bright or not bright depending on how you want it. "Alexa, set vertical to 30%" sets the light to 30% brightness. "Alexa, set vertical to orange" sets the light to orange, but "Alexa, set vertical to warm white" sets the light to the colur brightness of a typical bulb, "cool white" sets the light to an ice white. We run the light in a corner of the living room, facing the corner usually in warm white mode facing the wall at 30% brightness. We seldom use the app but use the voice assistant mode multiple times per day. There are so many preset scene colours and flashing/pulsing modes in the app and Govee have really put the effort in there.We really like the Floor Lamp 2.We have two Govee products in our house,

I've had this several weeks now and I still love it. I have found that it works best when it's projected into a corner. The light casts a display into the wall. There are so many settings through the app. You can set it to a programmed light pattern or you can make your own up using the app. You can even set it to music. The remote has more limited functionality than the app, so if you want to make full use of the lamp, download the app. I haven't tested the Philips Hue range, but this is half the price. I'm impressed and think it's great value for money.

This is a great lamp - it looks great, it’s bright and it’s easy enough to put together quickly. It works exactly as intended and has been a great addition to the living room.The only thing I can’t get my head around is why the thick wire going into the lamp for power supply is positioned at the front of the lamp, as there is nothing worse than seeing horrible wires running across the floorBut it’s a great lamp nonetheless, unsure if it’s worth more than £100 but at the sale price it was absolutely worth it
