I am a long tim Windows user until recently, I am wondering maybe it is time do use something different as I cannot withstand the horrible inflation of the Windows PC anymore. How dare a HP Elitebook to charge me 3000 or 4000USD for no reason, I am sure they are not what they mean actually but they would rather put an imfeasible price tag there. I am tired of waiting and rather prefer to grab one to go now.Then I noticed this deal, for 900USD you get about 1500USD worthy machine (by Apple's MSRP) but at least it is a feasible price tag. This is my 4th Mac actually, in the older days, I never tried them justifiable as I am always get used to Windows PC. Now I am decide to treat this one seriously.I would sell this machine if it cannot works for me after two months and grab a HP ZBook X instead.I would sell this machine if it works out and grab a Macbook Pro 14.2 for serious performance and batterylife plus their miniLED Panel.As for M3, 16GB 256GB as the new base model nowadays, it is fast though only 200GB storage available, for optimal speed, I only get about 140GB local size to use. But I think it would be well enough for essential things, as I have 2TB Google drive anyway.

I bought this to replace my mid 2014 Macbook Pro, which was still running pretty well despite the display not working.Weird jump going from a Pro to an Air, but the 10 year difference in tech definitely shows.4 stars because I got the smudgy color. Whats up with that Apple??? I also wish home row was centered above the trackpad because the trackpad extends further on the right side of the spacebar than the left, and I always find myself missing the edge for my right click.
