A great little collapsible camp kettle. This one was a lot cheaper than the market leading Outwell product, it is a little smaller but for just my wife and I this 2 pint size is about perfect. I missed out on our camping trip at the weekend because I was unwell but my wife, intrepid as ever went anyway and found this most useful for hot drinks and hot water bottles. the red silicon part of the kettle does not get hot to the touch which is a nice feature and makes it safer to handle BUT do be aware that the water inside could be boiling so handle with care. There is a nice litle pivoting paddle which locks the handle to keep the lid closed, this makes pouring a bit safer.I did get to test the kettle on one of the rings of our hob and it boiled pretty quickly really but as I was filming it this seemed like an age.I see that this item is currently out of stock at £16 I am not entirely surprised.

Used this daily for a week on both a wood stove for hours and camping gas stove for minutes at a time. It performed well at boiling the water and water pours out nicely making it easy to pour into cups, thermos or hot water bottles. The handle has a little flap to lock the lid into the closed position, which keeps the water to the spout and under control. The device is very stable in operation.I noticed the handle pulls out a little from the body, but it remains on firmly.The unit collapses to a small size and is light enough. Not sure how long this type of material will last. But after a week of hard work, it is not any worse for wear.

Just taken delivery of this. Seems to be a really well thought through design complete with lid lock to keep lid firmly shut when pouring.Tested on Induction Hob at home and worked perfectly much to my surprise. Yet to test on camping gas stove but no reason to think I will be disappointed. Will update the review if anything significant to report.Great size for 4 decent mugs of tea or coffee.

Packed down well and worked well as a kettle. I can also clean it better than my old standard metal camping kettle. All round no complaints. Good design.

NOT SAFE ! This kettle collapses when lifting by the handle when water has boiled and ids not possible to pour without steam burning your hand. also on second use the heat fused the handle sections together so now the lid will not open - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!

fast delivery . more lightweight than similar kettles . the handle can be a bit irksome for backpacking but preferable to double cost of other makes . does the job on the hills
