SPAL 30100400 1298 CFM 16in Fan - Pull (VA18-AP10/C-41A)

Well worth the money , not as loud as some but moves a ton of air. Was the thinnest fan I could find and it worked out great.

This is a quality product, with a slim low-profile design, and easy to mount. It is plenty powerful and I’m very happy with it. Only thing was that the power lead is quite short and is terminated with a male connector block. You have to purchase a separate pigtail that has a compatible female connector if you want to connect to power/ground. The pigtail should be supplied with the fan, in my opinion.

I have a 65 mustang with a late model 5.0L conversion using the serpentine system. This provides very little clearance. I bought a 3 row aluminum radiator which is a little thicker than the brass radiator from before so this fan fit great onto the new radiator and gave me less than 0.5" of space. I mounted this fan onto a shroud using the Hayden mounting rods and then mounted the shroud onto the radiator. I have zero vibration issues using no fan gasket. Keeps car cool at idle and uses very little power (7.5 amps) so be sure to fuse it correctly.

Low noise level, easy installation, good airflow, good value, good quality.

We only had 2 1/2" clearance between the radiator and pullies. This fan is by far the thinnest. Bought other low clearance fans that were still too thick. This one comes in at just under 2". You give up a little in CFM though as the motor isn't quite as stout as the other units with the larger motors. Still adequet for our needs.

I previously bought a highly rated electric fan on here that burned out on the first trip, compromising my new Ford racing engine. By the time I tried to warn others, Amazon seems to have removed the item from its inventory.I out this straight blade, 16" low purifier in and is been working awesome ever since. I'm accrual getting ready to order another to supplement the cooling.It may sound obtuse, but the way the fan sounds, ie the noise of the bearings, the faint sounds of the electrical harmonics, the sound that the blades make as they move through the air and the total lack of vibration at full speed allows the skilled ear to identify this fan as something superior to what's on most factory vehicles and most other aftermarket fans. Weird, I know... Not expecting everyone to understand.
