It works but not as useful as you'd think. Sure the it's good as giving you an initial opening to get other tools in there but as for the tool for actually open a phone or tablet. I find it's too big if you try and remove the tape with this it too long and sharp you're going to hit the screen. Which I did lol You need a shorter tool that even if you mess up won't risk damage to the screen.However to create an initial opening this tool is ok.Ahh on thing I forgot to say is how thin it is. You won't be making any leverage with a tool like this.

Super thin, but very strong!
No tool I had was getting me even close to removing the back of my Pixel 3, so I ordered these and with some patience and a blow dryer I was able to get it off without cracking it. Really strong and durable!
