These lights are fantastic. We put them up in our lanai and change the colors for the various holidays. We live in FL and the last hurricane saturated our controller. I recommend if you are in FL and use these lights, bring the controller in if severe weather is approaching. That is our plan with the new set we just purchased,

I have used them for all kinds of products around the house. I have them to light up my stairs (see pic), under cabinet lighting, outside at my gate. These are dimmable which allows you to taylor the look you want. They also make your LED's consume less power. How do I turn them on? Automatically of course... They pair with Alexa and at dusk Alexa turns them on. Alexa turns them off at 11:00 PM or also when I tell Alexa goodnight, keyword to turn off all the inside lights. I even have my counter lights setup to be on each morning for coffee. So I never really have to turn them on.

This is updated review. I originally gave it a 5 start review based on this,<So far so good. Easy install. Bluetooth worked seamlessly. I installed this in my 5th wheel camper, and I will be buying a couple more.> So this worked great until it didn't. It no longer works, it is offline and nothing works to try to pair it again. It cannot be found by my phone. So I am changing this to a 1 star review for the short time that it did work. And I can't find any customer support anywhere.

I have a fifth-wheel RV in which all of the lights are now 12 volt DC LED lights. I used DC Power Jack Connectors to plug them into my RV lighting system. I have setup 2 of my lights (kitchen and bedroom) so that I can control them through Amazon Alexa. So I can say, "Alexa, turn on bedroom lights at 20 percent" and "Alexa, turn off bedroom lights". Wonderful setup.

I am using this to control the marquee lighting in an Arcade1Up cabinet I have gutted to run RetroPie. The light-up marquee was a great add-on but my wife complained about the light it created at night. Rather than wire in a dimmer dial on the outside of the cabinet this was a better solution. I have this turn off the marquee lights at 11 PM and back on again at 7 AM. It works perfectly. As an added bonus, when the marquee is on, I have it running at 60% of normal brightness, as it was too bright before.My only complaint with this was the pairing with the app. As it currently is (March 2021) it is a somewhat confusing process. It seemed to make sense, but after I gave it the WIFI settings I wanted it to use, it killed its own SSID and started communicating over the WIFI/WLAN and didn't really bother to let me know this in the app, so I was left wondering why I no longer communicate with it with my phone. After a minute or two I decided to close/reopen the app, and I could see the device had finished pairing and was listed. Other than that bit of craziness the app seems pretty straight-forward. I am using it in the local mode (I didn't sign up for an account), as I don't need to change the settings. Smooth out the app and this is a 5-star product.I will be back to adjust this review if things change.

I wanted to love the idea of these but the wireless connection was very clunky and difficult to masked work properly. I was able to get it to work once and then they stopped working randomly.

The controller did not fit my Twinstar Vr. IV 600s light. The male jack from the light does not fit the female end of the Wi-Fi controller. I thought I had to return the controller, BUT I figured out the controller will work if I buy a female to male larger sized jack to connect the controller to the light jack. It works great now!!!!!

I have these for 6 months and they work flawlessly. We just replaced our over the range microwave with a rangehood so I had to redo the wiring by drilling holes in the cabinet. I decided to solder one part of the led strip and in the process had to unplug the power a few times. When I finally finished the whole set up and the controller shows it is offline. I kept unplug and plug in the power or controller and no change. Luckily I decide to come back to reviews and the by chance saw the description that unplug and replug 4 times will reset the controller. Viola, I deleted the controller from the app and add device and readily saw the controller and connect it to wifi. Back to business in 30 seconds. Note you have to turn off your phone data during setup as it interferes with connecting to the wifi during serup. I highly recommend this product.
