I have a few Joby tripods. In days gone by when filming with multiple cameras, i used full size tripods (and cameras) now I use a couple of DSLR's and Osmo Actions (miles better than GoPro's) these have pretty much replaced the full size tripods, allowing a 3 or 4 camera shoot to (almost) be packed into a single bag. The head is never going to allow for smooth pans, but it's fine for setting up shots and quickly moving camera angles.

After a lot of research I discovered that the 3K was a plastic tripod. But the 3K PRO was aluminium. so I ordered the 3K Pro video. in spite of all the advertising by JOBY it turns out that for some unknown reason the 3K Pro Video does NOT (R) N O T include the pro tripod. but the standard plastic one. But no worries. it is designed to operate with a 3Kilo load. so my 1.6 Kilo load should be well within its grasp. ... ... ... No it wont grip as the load is too heavy. it sags, it wobbles. My advice is (unless you have a very light rig, and only use it occasionally) to leave this item WELL ALONE.

Absolutely fantastic

Amazingly adaptation of a heavyweight tripod with a mangrotto 501 plate. I wouldn’t have thought it would work on such a small scale but it does and just as good as a full size tripod as long as the camera isn’t too heavy.

I purchased this specifically for using for macro photography shots. My camera and lens are well under the 3kg that it claims to support, sadly unless on something like carpet, the legs do slip and splay.However, when it is on a non slip surface, the operation of the head is smooth and firm, will be a great tripod for a camera with a 50mm lens or similar, but with 2.5 kg weight it's not good sadly :(

Acostumbrado al de 5k, se me hizo chico, pero sigue teniendo la macicez suficiente para cualquier cámara de video o fotografia semiprofesional con todo y accesorios.

Se nota que Joby ya no es lo que era. No aguanta 3 Kilos ni por asomo y el extra lateral no le pongas nada de mucho peso porque se dobla. Gran decepción de lo que fue y es esta marca.

Trépied solide bonne matière et super polyvalent. Léger donc transport facile. Se plie aussi facilement et se transporte dans un sac à dos. S adapte à tout

Produit trop lourd pour mon utilisation

It’s not so big and heavy duty as I thought. Love the pan tilt stick and the baseplate.
