Starts recording the weight at around 20mgs and is fairly accurate and easy to use. Great design just wish the weigh plate was bigger to fit the amounts it can weigh to in such accuracy, perfectly fits with shot glass sized solo cups 👍

The battery was dead on arrival. The scale seems to work as advertised and has a quality feel to it. I was apprehensive when I followed the steps and nothing happened the scale did not wake up. It is disappointing when the batteries are shot from minute 1,But I replaced them with Duracell’s and it works fine. I was dreading sending it back

Very accurate and sensitive scale for micro-measurements. Easily switchable between six different modes - grams, ounces, pennyweights, troy ounces, carats, or grains, and weighs to the nearest milligram (1/1,000 gram] equivalent. Runs on two AAA batteries, so very compact, and well designed with a cover for the balance, accessible controls and easily readable backlit display. Has everything you need for accurate weight measurement - tweezers, calibration weights and a tray for tare functions. And a handy storage box with compartments for all accessories. Certainly inexpensive for what you get - a precision instrument. In short, everything you need for precise weight measurements for small items like jewelry and medications. It's not as sturdy as a commercial laboratory analytical balance, so not a perfect five, but it's also hundreds of dollars less (you could buy and replace ten of these for what a good balance costs), and with proper care should be perfectly adequate for occasional home use. Recommended.

Well built, and accurate. So far I think it's a very good product and the price is reasonable.

OK mine was bought on Amazon, I used it to measure medication. A small crumb slipped in underneath the pressure plate in error and I could not get it out with repeated blowing and shaking. The unit was now useless, the amount of weight would increase and decrease like a yoyo, never staying constant, it seemed to settle on 5 grams for some reason when obviously there was nothing on top at the time! I tried to TARE it, no joy. I tried to recalibrate with the weights, no luck. Complete junk now. Didn't last long. So good as long as you get NOTHING underneath that centre weighing mechanism (and there are big gaps so be careful)!

It's cheap and not so tough but good enough. If you need to weigh less than 20-30mg however be careful. Sometimes I need to add extra weight and tare it for the stuff to weigh properly. Anything under 10mg I've never got to register so I'd consider a more expensive scale.

Very easy to use. I buy a lot of costume jewelry, but occasionally come across some gold. I can now aaccurately weigh and figure a value to successfully negotiate the best price for my scrap.

It did not include instructions. I really need them, no response to my email can't figure it out. makes it useless
