I love this clock. I had the round 'ball' one previously, but a new home needed it. This one is not as big as the round one, and, well, not like a ball round... Has a flat back.Once I figured out what all the buttons do, I got it set up. I can have it dim enough, in the right color, to sleep soundly and be able to view the time if I wake, and can wake to 'sunrise'!Yes, you can wake to lights, or sound/radio, or both. It has bluetooth and FM, (did you know many don't have AM anymore? 🤨), and a usb port on the back.If you want a little light when you sleep, this clock allows you to choose the color (you cycle thru 'fast', once it gets to the preferred color, you touch the light button and it 'stop's. You'll see.), and you can select the brightness. Brightness on the time (numbers), is also adjustable.This is not a "smart clock". You can't tell it what to do. I tried one like that, it freaked me out a bit having that WiFi next to my bed/head.All that said, it is a good night light, alarm clock, and I highly recommend it. 🙂

I have been looking for an alarm clock for my daughter for a few weeks and ordered two others including a Hatch. Importantly, I discovered that she doesn't like the "relaxing" sounds of the others. So, what do I want/need?An led light to help wake up in the morning along with a Bluetooth speaker were essential.Another clock light combo I ordered had Bluetooth but you had to hit the Bluetooth button every time you wanted to connect with the device. With iHome, you connect once and then it allows you to reconnect without being next to the clock. This is useful so I can play music for my daughter without being in her room.The Hatch didn't have the ability to use it as a Bluetooth speaker and play your own music. The whole thing is programmed to get you to subscribe to their stuff. I might have considered it if it also had the ability to play your own musicThe iHome seems like a very good compromise and it's not a bad deal for the price. It would be nice to have the relaxing sounds built in, but the Bluetooth is so good, you can just use your phone.Oh yea, and this allows you to wake to Bluetooth which is not a common feature in this price range. Many allow falling asleep to Bluetooth, but it must require some extra programming or hardware to allow it to connect with the alarm. This and the FM radio are great features that make it worthwhile.

I love everything about this product, except it works too well! ;) I use the radio at work and on level 1, it is way too loud for an office setting. The bluetooth feature allows it to get a little quieter, but still louder than I would prefer in an office. The other features and color options are great!

Years later its still working

I’m very happy to have purchased this Ihome radio! I love the colors, which makes it like a night, if you use it at night! Sound quality is great!!

After looking for this particular combo of functions (I bought two clock speakers from two different brands and none hit all my checkmarks). This one hit most of my checkmarks. The nightlight is dim and warm enough for me to comfortably sleep with, the bluetooth speaker functionality works well, the clock doesn't run too fast or slow. It also has a wake to bluetooth function, which I originally wanted but I didn't get to test it because I decided to use the built-in alarm. Also has a USB port for charging your phone. Overall, it seems like third time's the charm.

The size is perfect. It’s not too small but not too big. It fits perfectly on my desk. I use the radio and Bluetooth part of this. I use the radio for work on my work desk. I do not use the alarm. The ONLY issue I have is that the lowest level (1) is loud. I have better control with the volume using the Bluetooth. The radio blares haha otherwise it’s perfect for what I intended it for.

This is a very nice product. We had the last version of this radio..This new model has been redesigned and is way more user friendly...You will not be disappointed..And the volume is fine!....Highly recommend 👌
