Works and Looks Great in Person
Pros:The adhesive is 3M and holds very well. There is plenty of wire length for what we wanted to use it for.The look of it with the exposed circuit board is slick and looks great in person.Overall performance and quality is unbeatable for the investment amount!Cons:Lack of installation instructions. It let me turn my computer on again
I bought this, because my computer had stopped turning on, and if the problem were with the power button, this would be a cheaper and easier fix than replacing the PSU or the motherboard. Upon installing it properly, I was able to turn my computer on with it. As I write this, I have had it for five days, and it has worked promptly each time. I have also tested the restart button, and that is working too.Since it does not come with a manual, I will add some instructions and suggestions for installing it. Before connecting the power switch to your F_PANEL, you should decide how it's going to come out of your computer. On my computer, the main options were to go out an empty card slot in the back or out of an empty drive bay in the front. Since I connected it to the F_PANEL first, I found out that the power switch would not fit through a card slot. So I passed it through an empty drive bay. Since my case has covers for empty drive bays, I moved the power switch's cord to a place on the side where it could still come out if I put the cover back on. So I put the cover on over the drive bay and had the power switch come out of the side of the bay.Connecting it to your motherboard's F_PANEL involves individually connecting each connector to the specific place it should go in the F_PANEL. To do this correctly, you should refer to your motherboard's manual or carefully pull out one connector at a time, noting what it is and where it was. In case the connectors for the power switch are not aligned in the same order as the F_PANEL's ports, you can pull them apart to maneuver them better. The power switch has an adhesive backing from 3M covered by a film you can pull away when you are ready to stick it onto something. I did not want to stick it to any fixed object outside my computer, because that would make it more difficult to pull the computer out and open it up. I thought I might use the adhesive backing to stick it to a magnetic sheet, but I couldn't find the magnetic sheet. I also considered sticking it to a kitchen magnet, but the ones I found were too thin to have the magnetic strength to hold the switch. So what I did was use some strong magnets with plastic rims to keep it on the side of my computer. The power switch is composed of two panels screwed together, and the rim of each magnet is able to go over the closer panel. I have two magnets supporting the switch, and I have a third at the top holding it in place to keep it from tilting. This allows me to keep the power switch on the side of my computer, and it also allows me to move the power switch out of the way when I want to open up the computer.

It works, and looks decent.
This was a straightforward install and works as described. The blue and red LEDs are “bright but too bright.” I like the tactile feel of the switches, they enough pressure that you probably won’t accidentally turn anything on/off. Good product.

Very convenient
Have 1 for each of my desktop PC's. Mounted under my monitor, I no longer have to squeeze my arm under the desk and feel around to power up my PC. Nice to also have a reset switch. Only thing I didnt like is It did not come with a splitter to still use buttons on the Desktop case itself. Not that it matters anymore. The HDD led on one of them does not work. Adhesive keeps it in place well; No sliding around and/or lifting. Cable is plenty long to reach where ever I wanted on the desk.

Looks great but not durable
I really love the look of this but the clear plastic cracked after only a few uses, then the adhesive that holds it in place failed. Easy enough to resolve but two fails on a simple item? Looks great and works well otherwise

This switch is just dead sexy! Looks fantastic on my wall-mount PC case.
I got this to relocate the power/reset buttons on my wall-mount case to something more easily reached since my case is mounted near the ceiling. The buttons work very well. The switches themselves work nicely and the buttons are laser cut directly into the cover so they sit very flush with the body of the cover. The flex distance on the buttons is minimal so they don't feel like they're going to break from fatigue any time soon. The LEDs are very bright, with the power LED being blue and the HDD LED being red. They project a bit outward onto nearby surfaces so if you don't want that effect, you may need to modify them yourself, either by replacing them or by scuffing the surface so they don't act like little spotlights. The cord is soldered to the board through an L-shaped connector, but there's no way to disconnect the ribbon cable from the assembly, which is a little bit of a minus. It's black flat ribbon cable with black end connectors. The switch block comes with double-sided tape pre-applied, but the tape didn't stick for very long on my powder-coated case, even though I prepped the surface by cleaning it with alcohol and letting it dry before applying the sticker. I ended up adding magnetic tape to the back.

Easy to install, looks & works great!
This PC on/off switch worked perfectly! I was easy to install (you should know what you are doing, but if not, Google sure does) and I ran it through my case & simply zip tired securely to the front. It came with an adhesive but I didn't use it. It looks great, works perfectly, and I recommend it!
