Great looking coin blanks. Just need to find someone to engrave them for me now. Was originally going to strike them with a set of punches and such but changed my mind. Might ask one of my friends to use his hydraulic press. I like that it is copper, have not tested it if it is pure copper but I believe it is. Will join my eclectic coin collection.

These engrave very well with my 60 watt JPT fiber laser. Only took 10 passes to reach depth required. They also polish up very nicely and will consider buying more.

I'm using a 2w pump laser at 1064nm and it cuts and blackens. Even at 5%, I'm leaving an etch into the metal (my laser focus settings). I haven't tried this with a blue laser, but I'm definitely leaving a mark. I'd love to get a 3D relief, but I'm not sure I can do that with just 2w.

As far as I know they are fine.They have a good weight and feel to them and if the work out on my new X-Tool I will let you know the quality.Again, they have weight to them so they arrived in a flimsy box among my other Amazon purchases.No wrapping and they bounced around cracking and chipping some of the cases which means some of the people I give with receive it without the case or I end up buying more cases and why should I.I would like to think by some miracle I have cases show up at my door but I think I am going to have to go through the routine to get what I paid for despite knowing where all of this originates from.I will upgrade my review to 5 stars if everything works out.

These were super nice and I was hoping that there was some sort of coating as the face looks brushed or powder coated. Not the case. 40w CO2 laser wont make a dent in these. Fiber will work. I'm going to try my diode laser but not much faith in that working. Which leaves marking spay or etching off some other pigment you apply. Very disappointed since I was hoping to use these for some holiday gifts.Note to seller: Please take the image of a CO2 laser off your listing. If you can't etch this with a CO2 (or perhaps a very powerful one) your listing should reflect this.Gave 2 stars since the coins are of decent quality. Packaging was terrible however and found many of these loose in the amazon "shipping bag".
