Fantastic bird scarer
Just had a new front lawn laid as it was in dreadful condition after last summer, also chafer grubs which the magpies were going mad for. The lawn has been treated for the chafer grubs but wanted something to keep the magpies away until this takes effect. Put up 19 sticks with the tape attached and it's working a treat.

Go Away Pigeons
Works well in dull and sunny conditions. Upto now keeping pesky pigeons and squirrels away

Didn't work for me.
Although the tape is strong and seems durable it only scared the Jackdaws and Magpies away for about a day. After that they were happily sitting on the branches I'd attached it to. Even in bright sunlight with a breeze to reflect and rustle, they didn't seem deterred. The problem is that these birds do not scare easily and soon get wise to the passivity.

Fantastic & it really does what work
Have tried many products to keep birds out of my garden but unfortunately nothing workedI use mine by pegging strips on to my washing line

This tape works - incredble.
Best idea is to move it around, bring it down and back up again now and again, else the birds get complacent about it.

Fragile source of litter
I'm not convinced that birds are actually scared of this tape, but my main concern is that it does not last more than a week when installed as it just snaps in the the wind and blows away. So you are basically dropping litter whenever you use it. And as I hate litter-dropping scum I cannot advocate the use of this product outdoors. Really the only thing it is good for is as a fancy ribbon around presents, but I would only do that to use up the roll, then never buy again.

Has some effect as a deterent to birds
I found if fitted to the eves of the house it deters a high proportion of pigeons. On fences it encourages them to fly a little higher and on ground level have found the tape to be uneffective
