Works perfectly
Works with my multi button mouse for proper support unlike a previous device I had.

Perfect as a Wireless Keyboard/Mouse switch!
I'm writing this review to serve as 'support' for others that might find themselves in a similar situation to me (because I couldn't find this answer when I was looking). My needs were simple. I had a set up consisting of 1x Samsung Ultrawide screen display, 2x PC's/Lap Tops, 1x Logitech MX Keys keyboard and 1x Logitech MX Master 3 mouse. I wanted the be able to quickly flip the keyboard and mouse from serving one of my systems to server the other. Samsungs built-in KVM nor Logitechs 'Flow' solution were options for me because one of my systems was my work Lap Top connecting to the internet via a VPN - so neither the Samsungs KVM or Logitechs 'Flow' recognised that system as being on the same network as my other (personal) system. I could have used the '1, 2, 3' switch keys found on both the keyboard and mouse to flick from one system to the other but, in practise, this always stopped the natural flow of things because of the conscious effort required to (a) select the relevant switch key on the keyboard followed by (b) turn the mouse upside down to then select the relevant switch key there too.I wanted a 'switch' that would house the Logitech Unifying Receiver to which both the keyboard and mouse had been assigned and would quickly and easily allow me (i.e. one button, one press) to toggle backwards and forwards between my 2 systems. I wanted this switch to be discreet in size and I wanted it to take it's power from the two systems it was server (ie.. not require a plug/AC/power socket connection). And I wanted it to be USB3.0 compatible for both performance and future-proofing reasons. This compact switch, that takes it's power from the machines its connected to, has given me exactly what I wanted. One button, one toggle, up to 4 devices shared. Quick, easy, trouble-free and instantaneous switching. I've stuck it to the side of my desk so neither it or its cables are visible but the recessed button is so easily found without having to consciously go looking for it, the transition from one system to the other is seamless and effortless.I can't recommend this device highly enough but must also mention UGREENS customer service support. If you post a question here about the device, they'll reply within minutes during office hours.5 Stars all round. If your display has built-in KVM or you can utilise Logitechs 'Flow' software then, of course, that's the way to go... but those services are impeded, perhaps by something like VPN, then this is the Switch for you.

Needed to have power cable
It didn't come with a USB power cable(unfortunately). Like me, you may need one for all the devices to function. If using mice, keyboards, stream decks or any other devices that draw power from USB, you need that power cable.Other than that, it works. I need to get a second one to split the load.

Does its job well
I use the switch to connect my mouse, keyboard and also headset (including mic). Everything is working flawless so far.I had an issue with "Not enough USB controller resources" after I connected everything including mic. I solved by lowering sound format from Studio to DVD Quality. Worked well for both working and gaming. It takes only a second or two for devices to become functional on the other PC.

Works as expected.
I put it behind my monitor and connect it to my main computer and my work laptop so I don't have to swap out my keyboard and mouse. I use it without giving it any power and it works fine. I tried gaming and I don't think there's any noticeable input lag but I couldn't tell. So far so good!

Perfect for using the same keyboard and mouse (+ more) on two computers.
The UGREEN USB 3.0 Switch is fantastic. It allows 4 USB devices to be connected to 2 computers (accessible by 1 computer at a time), and has an optional power adapter which I have not used. It came with two normal size male-male USB 3.0 cables for connecting it to two computers, both of which are thick and more than long enough.I wanted to connect my keyboard & mouse to my home PC and my work laptop. I only need to switch between these a couple of times a week, but it was a hassle to the point I would end up using a different keyboard & mouse for each. I bought this item purely for convenience and that’s the only purpose it serves.I mostly use my PC for gaming, so I was concerned it might introduce lag. I haven’t noticed any drop in responsiveness whatsoever. It switches fast too. The first time I used it, it took a very, very long time to be recognised by both my PC and laptop, to the point I was worried it was broken. After that initial setup it hasn’t missed a beat; after pressing the switch the mouse and keyboard respond faster than my monitor will switch inputs (a couple of seconds, max).My biggest gripe is that it’s so small and light, and the supplied cables so thick, (see the pictures with 50p for scale) that it doesn’t want to sit in one place. It has four small feet but they’re meaningless. UGREEN should ditch the feet and ship this with double sided sticky pads, and also cut some holes in the back for mounting purposes (this would mount quite nicely on the underside of a desk). I’ve resorted to Blu Tack. You want it to stay in place so you can press the switch button. My other criticism is with the advert that says “2 in 4 Out”, which is unnecessarily confusing. The USB interface is bi-directional and most people will use this with keyboards and mice which are input devices. Technically this is 2 (1 at a time) in & out to 4 in & out. They should just say “switch 4 USBs between 2 PCs”.I highly recommend this product (I paid £19.99 in Jan 2019), and chose to review it after having a nightmare with so many other recent Amazon orders that this delight was worth promoting. Just don’t forget to figure-out some way to stick this down. If this review was helpful, please mark as such.

Decent, only needs external power if you want to power devices
*Update March 2025*I plugged a USB3 device in for the first time and there's not enough power so the camera is about 1 frame every 10 seconds.Device claims you need a 5V (MicroUSB) power supply that supplies 2A. I plugged a 2A power supply in, no joy.I plugged a USB power monitor in - not only does it seem to *output* 5V in the 5V in, it doesn't pull more than 0.05A when plugged in. For a 'USB 3' device, it's effectively useless. For a USB2 swapper, you're fine.
