Of course it won't. What sort of "protection" could you need from electrical cable though? This is a product used by people developing radio devices. It's not for "protecting" yourself from EMF, nor is that something you should ever need to do. Have you fallen for hippie nonsense?

Will this block the emf from a welder

Hi, I can only say that I found this item helped block out certain emf's - (Electro Magnetic Frequencies). I am not sure what the answer is about welding sorry? I found that this material works by reducing the emf's that are in the atmosphere! You can check with a meter reader. Hope this helps. Best, K
