Zoom and boom
As a beginner to hobbycraft photography, I can honestly say i'm loving this camera, exelent pics, great ease of use and focus, however if you want to take advantage of that fantastic zoom, then you "WILL" need a tripod for stability, the zoom is fantastic but your hands alone would 97% catch a blurry pic (at max zoom, I think up to 12x is quite manageable with trial and error), unless of course you're as steady as a stone.The pics I took for review, a close up Macro (I had no idea a red bug was on the plant so i was happy with this :), the zoom shot of a tower in the background, then zoomed in (There are heat waves unfortunately and Im no pro) but thats my review.

Powerful zoom.
Most likeable feature is the powerful zoom. On max zoom I found that a tri-pod or firm, steady surface is needed to get shake-free images. A younger, steadier hand might not have any problems.Picture quality is excellent.I have been using "Energiser" re-chargeable batteries ( AA HR6 ) very successfully. Otherwise I seemed to be buying regular batteries too often.

Unfortunately had to send back as couldn't get to work. The Company were very helpful and I bought another one.

Ok but more for snaps
Not a bad camera although the lack of view finder makes it difficult to frame a really good picture,the mode choice wheel is too loose and can easily change without you noticing, it's OK for snaps but if you want to take more serious pictures get something with a view finder

Worst camera I have ever purchased
Frankly you can get better pictures from a disposable camera. This is just a complete waste of money so avoid at all costs.

Simple to use, better than a smartphone for photos
Bought this for Ebay photos along side a light box and has made my life so much easier. Excellent photos compared to a smartphone!

I dislike the fact the lens protector is very loose so a camera this price is at risk of being damaged straight away and scratched aslo why only works on batterys it don't make sense I am happy to try it out on my next holiday coming up .
