My father in law is a South African, I like to keep him happy.

Good flavour, thinly sliced, very little fat. I still give it a 5 star because of its flavour, even though I prefer much more fat and a thicker cut.

Decent quality billtong at excellent prices.Not the best flavour or texture out there but not a bad product overall, but for this price it tastes just that bit sweeter

I have bought this product for several years where I have had a need to increase the amount of iron in my diet post surgery. On the last occasion I lost half of my blood during surgery and with little trust in transfusion bloods I opted again to eat Biltong for it's high iron content as part of my recovery regime. GOOD excuse or what? This product is excellent quality and having eaten this product in several countries around the globe I can honestly say this is the best I have found. The flavour is not too strong (a problem found in many) and there is little to no dust or scraps in the bag just well cut flakes of lean gristle-less beef which is certainly dried to that perfect state, neither too dry or too wet. I recommend this brand with ease, but if you do use as part of a post surgery recovery regime, don't forget the vitamin C (you need both). My doctor was somewhat shocked at the speed my blood count returned to normal, although this is no surprise to me as your GP seldom advises that you take vit C with the iron supplements they prescribe. A big THANK YOU BILTONG MAN for what can only be described as an excellent product.

I regret buying a whole kilo.If you just need a high protein snack and don't care about the flavour could make sense.

Not quite as good as SA, but still delicious.

I have been rotating different biltong companies just to see who makes the best in the UK. I’m not saying this is the best as I haven’t tried them all but so far I’ve only been disappointed by other brands so I’m back for more of this my first order went down a treat. You get a decent amount of biltong with this 500g back upon weighing it it’s closer to 550g and it’s not wet like some brands are. This wetness of other brands I think adds a lot of weight as the packages are noticeably smaller and still weigh 500g. This is good value for money and excited for my next batch to arrive.
